Presumably it's like the USB audio player and it has it's own volume control. It works like this (all based on playing music while playing Destiny), game audio is a set baseline. USB audio has a volume control that takes it louder than game audio (60-70% is game baseline). If you plug in a headset, USB audio is grouped into the "game" mix for purposes of balancing chat audio with game audio.

Yea that was the first pleasant change I noticed when I got the update on my Galaxy a few days ago.

Ditto. It seems like such a minor thing, but the way it used to default to all of your friends instead of just the online ones was irritating. This is much better now.

Yeah, you can adjust the volume of the music. You can either hold the ps button on the controller and access the music settings there or you can use your phone to select the song and up the volume.

Check it out on youtube, there are a couple of ways.

One you have to use the guest account.

..you can just cut on the PS4 and then connect the Vita as well and just walk out the room with the vita and DS4

Controlling spotify on your ps4 with your phone is pretty awesome too.

Very cool! A couple more cool things... if you used Shazam and have your accounts linked, it automatically creates a playlist of all your shazam'd songs. The playlist import service for Music Unlimited worked flawlessly too!

They've add some great stuff to the ps4, but the spotify app might be one of my favorite additions.
