Good call if you decide to do this. I went this route for the first time with The Show 15. If you play this game for like 10 months, the trade-in value will probably only be about $8-10. You save about $5 anyway if you purchase digitally for not having to pay tax.

Being a best buy gcu member I can get the show 15 for about $48 so thinking about going back to a disk based version simply for the savings. However I don't really like wrangling the case and disks so much anymore. Still debating paying more for the digital copy so I can easily access it on a secondary ps4. Anyone else on the fence here on which version to get?

I should have at least $20 off with GCU and gift certificates from points, so I'll probably get the special edition version.

What does the special edition include? Specifically the digital vs disk version. I can't tell from photos what the packaging is exactly.

Pretty sure you could always play DVDs.

Maybe day one when it released it couldn't and maybe needed an update?

I was just getting it primarily because I thought the case looked cool.

You get a special steelbook and than a bunch of DLC stuff.. 12k in stubs (whatever that is), 15 bonus item packs (no idea), all 30 dynamic themes and a special controller cover of the team of your choice (something you have to do online).

At this point, though.. I don't even know if I'm getting it anymore. I said before, I'm really backed up with my games and this would back me up even further.

That's what I assumed. For some reason I can play blu ray, but not regular dvd's. I have the latest update. I also thought I could access music from a usb, but I can't. Guess I'll explore further on each.

Stubs are "The Show" equivalent to VC from the 2K series. Just not nearly as prevalent. If I remember correctly, with the preorder bonus of stubs I got for 14, I was able to get a player in RttS to a 85-90 almost instantaneously. They can be used in all of the other game modes as well.

my son has a sub account on my ps4, if I save his files to a flash drive I can re load them onto the ps4 after the HD switch or does it just do the main account?

You have to take it out of the case and put it in your ps4 and I put the ps4 500gb in the case.

It's really easy. It's just a plastic case that snaps together. No screws at all. Once you open up you'll need to take the protective wrapper off of the drive and disconnect their sata connector. After that you'll have a regular 2.5 inch drive that you can install

If you want you can put the old ps4 drive into the case and use it as an external drive for your computer or your Xbox if you have one
