Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Honestly, I have no idea as I have all the notifications turned off. Thanks for the info as I didn't know this. I guess if I get screenshots for other games, this is the reason why. Thanks.Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
day 2 with my samsung curved monitor and it looks awesome but one fatal flaw has me sad
The PS4 has the Full RGB or Limited and I use limited for my samsung 4k tv with hdmi on the tv set to low
On the monitor same deal but there is nasty black crush and changing PS4 setting to Full makes no difference
Only thing that makes a diff is changing monitor hdmi black level to normal from low but it washes out the picture.
It is not that bad in terms of black crush but every game I have to change brightness in game or monitor to help which should not be the case
I might return it today and get the asus 1440p 25 incherNBA2K is the standard of sports games period.Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
I use AVS HD 709 every 2 to 3 months on my gaming monitor to keep everything calibrated correctly. Its very in depth software, you can get it here.

I am looking at a 1440p asus monitor in either the 25 or 27 inch size
just not sure if having ps4 and xbox one on a 1440p will look good as it is not nativeComment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
When I put limited on ps4 and hdmi black level on low with tv the black level is in reference format.
When I do the same on the curved monitor there is black crush.
If I put it on Full on the ps4 and normal or low on the monitor it makes no change.. I confirmed with other sites that it has black crush issue
I am now looking at the asus 1440p 25 or 27 inch which I heard has no black crush issueComment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Alright I downloaded this and I dig it, it's not mind blowing but it's atmospheric, with some light piano in the background. It's also a little creepy, with like the sound a phone makes when you call someone and it's ringing and some series of numbers that goes from somewhat audible to unintelligible. Makes me excited to play the game.
I'm digging it.Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
I've been using the PlayStation HEROES pre-order theme. It's very simplistic, yet PlayStation-centric.
Other than that, the 20th Anniversary theme is good too, but just too damn bright, lol. The Playroom theme is pretty cool too, it's the one my son uses. I think it may still be free on the EU store.

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
So I got a brand new Gold Headset a couple days ago and whenever I use it people tell me they either cannot hear me or my mic is super soft. I have adjusted all of the settings, and nothing fixed it. I did a google search and this seemed to be a common problem.
Is there a solution or do I have a defective unit?Comment
