Not necessarily. As KingTocco mentioned, the NEO will be a stronger unit and we still really don't know much until it's reveal on what benefits we will get from it. However, the pictures that you see side by side? Without an HDR TV, you won't notice much of anything.

I'll have to listen to this in the future though, would be an awesome addition if they somehow found a way to make the fan quieter.Fino Alla Fine

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Interesting but I don't know if I have good luck or what and I normally don't lol but its like ever where I go I hear people say that the ps4 fan is loud yet I have never had a loud ps4 fan. Am I the only one that has not had a loud ps4 fan? Ps3 fan was really loud and ps3 slim made almost zero noise. The ps4 fan I find is in between ps3 and ps3 slim in that it is not really loud but is louder then ps3 slim.Comment

There are some game disc that are loud in the drive at initial spin-up... NBA 2K is the biggest offender. It's like their discs need balancing before they ship. 😂

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
I am so glad they went with Sony and Insomniac has I love Ratchet and clank and yeah I am thinking we will not see more of the game in till PSX but I hope we do. I hope we see more before then even if it is just a few screen shoots or a preview saying what kind of things you can do in the game. But yeah I do think it is going to be a while and could even be 2018 like you said for 2 reason.
1. Just like a month ago they said it would be a while before they gave a date for the game coming out.
2. At E3 all we got was a trailer. No previews talking about features in the game and no hands on demos. Not getting a hands on demo means that it is still a long way off but thankfully the game should be getting at least a 2 year development instead of being like a 1 year development like you get with movie tie in games with it not being a movie tie in.
Someone on Neogaf posted that the game has been in full development since late 2014 according to Linkledin profiles but I don't believe that because 18 months in and all they show is a cinematic trailer at E3? Insomniac isn't a big studio (under 200 employees according to Wikipedia) and going from Sunset Overdrive to Ratchet and Clank to Spider Man definitely takes time.
The game is in no way, shaper or form related to the movie which is definitely a good thing. No reason for Sony or Insomniac to rush the game whatsoever especially since Marvel truly cares about the quality of the game. Definitely see 2018 at the earliest. PSX could have another trailer but if anything, I would rather see them wait until next year's E3 simply because im tired of seeing games overhyped and overexposed. The more a game is shown, the more it can hurt the game as people will obviously just start thinking about it and when that happens, it's usually in a negative way.Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
No, it's every channel. A quick google search made this appear to be a slight problem for some and has to do with the display 'area' which I adjusted. I'll have to restart the Vue app when I get home and give it a shot.Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Alright, thanks for the reply. I only have 1 disc game left and it doesn't make too much noise as it is but when I play NBA 2K it's fairly loud.

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
In other words, results would be the same minus the initial drive spin up for the disc check. Then it goes back into idle shortly after.
My launch PS4 is still quiet. When I notice a little raise I audio, I opened it up and cleaned out a small amount of dust when replacing HDD, and it is quiet as new again.
So if it is running quieter, then that is good news. Maybe they made the fan throttle more efficient.

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Sony was a pretty obvious choice since Sony is releasing Marvel's next Spider-Man movie. Insomniac was a surprise as most were expecting Sucker Punch to be developing the game but im far more happy that it's Insomniac.

Yeah I remember the rumors about sucker punch but I am glad it is Insomniac because they do a great job with upgrades, love the art style we saw in the trailer and ratchet and clank on ps4 looks amazing and while I do have the newest Infamous game I like ratchet and clank much more. When it comes to the size of there team I am not sure how big most popular video game studios are compared to them. While I am not asking for much but I want to have something else this year for the game no matter if it is written previews about some of the games features or some new screen shoots, or trailer, or something. To have to want for E3 next year for some news would be hard.
I do think it is not going to be out in till at least late next year because if it was only like a year or less I think we would have gotten a hands on demo or something at E3 and instead we just got a trailer and really know nothing about the game over all. How ever I don't think it will be latter then 2018 because if it was still like 2 and a half years or so I don't think we would have even gotten any thing at E3 this year. I didn't hear about the 2014 thing but the newest ratchet and clank game just came out this year. So I don't know if they would have been working on the game for like 1.5-2 before ratchet and clank had even came out. I mean maybe before ratchet and clank was 100% done and ready they had part of the team start working on this game or maybe in 2014 they start brain storming ideas for spiderman but didn't really start putting in the engine and game code and what not in till later.Comment
