got my 5tb seagate hard drive and I had a bit of a scare as it didnt recognize it on my ps4 for a few minutes but it's fully setup. moved all my downloads and I feel like my internal hard drive was like thank you lol

I can't wait for Rain World to hit PS4 and PC on the 28th this month. Pretty close. Reports say it is around 15-20 hours of gameplay and I think only costs 16 bucks right now for PS+ subscribers to pre-order

Apparently it uses some system where the animations are procedural-generated, or something like that?

So I was watching the trailer then after that came up an interesting title called 'Everything'. In the beginning I thought it looked silly with the flipping bears. Then I kept listening to the narrator and watching the game mechanics and the scope of this game...

Yeah, that games out on Tuesday (the 21st) and is 12 bucks right now for Plus subscribers. I think I will get them both. Love me some indies

I pre-ordered this so quickly. It looks great.

Also really interested in the rpg title releasing called Cosmic Star Heroine.

I've been reading a lot about Everything, or as much as I can find, and I'm not sure. I'm likely passing. I don't mind story based games where it's me basically pushing a player around for dialogue prompts. But this really looks like I'm just sitting around watching things happen.

The tech looks amazing. The concept is as well. But the game play is lacking, from what I've seen.

Well some of you may know that I'm picking up another PS4 for the show before next week most likely this weekend. I was at my cousins house last night he has a Samsung KDS and also has a PS4 Pro , since I know about boost mode and all the options and bells and whistles with the pro I was not that impressed by . I understand it's still new but me paying an extra $150 for the pro over to slim doesn't make too much sense for me. I can probably even score a regular vanilla PS4 for even cheaper I really just want to for the SHOW, but I really was not that impressed with the difference yesterday its definitely sharper and clearer, but not by that much for me to want to spend an extra $150. I mean if I'm not comparing them both side-by-side then it's not going to be an issue but I honestly don't see that it's a huge upgrade that's just me guys.

Just buy the Slim, you've been going over this for awhile now in your head. You'll be happy with the Slim. I have a Slim, I don't care about what the Pro can do because I don't have it in my family room to compare it to. Games still look and play incredible on it.

I disagree, if you are buying a new PS4 now you definitely should go with the Pro. There are going to be a ton of Pro enhanced games coming down the pike that will make you regret getting just a regular PS4. The Pro isn't that much more (think of it as two games) and well worth the investment to future proof your games.

Sure go ahead and get the PS4 slim if you like, but this fall when all sorts of things are coming out that look unreal you will be kicking yourself for not spending slightly more and getting a lot better hardware.

I fully understand what your talking about, all my gaming is done on the Xbox one, I mean all of it. Honest I just want the PS4 just for the Show and GOW that's really it. I'm getting a Scorpio when released so I'm not sure how much kicking I'll be doing to myself. Im just saying I was able to finally see the PRO in action last night for the first time and I was not really blown away, its not that big of upgrade for me to spend the money. And I have a 4k TV also with HDR.


Plus I have the switch now and I wanna invest a bit more in that with some more accessories. I think Ill be good with the slim. Like I said its just baseball I care about.

I purchased a Slim over a Pro. It's different strokes for different folks. I didn't see the $200 (at the time) difference for me personally. And I haven't regretted it.

If you have a 4k tv the decision should be very easy. Get the console that takes advantage of it. Especially if you are buying the console only for a game that does take advantage of it. I got a pro just for horizon and the show as of now.

that's my thing, Just going to put the slim in the bedroom on my 1080p plasma.
