Nope, once you've signed in on a device one time you're good (that usually applies to websites that do this too). Although if you haven't already, you might want to enable your PS4 as the "Primary" PS4 tied to your account. I think the most recent PS4 firmware would have actually prompted you for this if it was needed.

The Pro debate is just too subjective to really give a "defining answer"

My personal opinion is that if it's something you really have to convince yourself you should buy, it might just not be something you need at the moment.

The difference/upgrades have been well worth it for my 1080p gaming but the same things I enjoy could be meaningless to other people.

It appears that Dark Souls 3 will be getting a Pro patch that will include a bump in the frame rate.

Do you want to potentially play every game with higher settings? This might include visuals and a higher frame rate. If yes, then get the pro. If you need optical out, get a pro.

If you're okay with potentially experiencing a game that runs a little worse than the Pro version and/or you want to save money then get a slim.

As someone who was and still is 100% against the PS4 PRO and mid-gen upgrades, I still bought a PS4 PRO because I also bought a 4K HDR TV and after playing Horizon Zero Dawn on it, it's impossible to go back.

If you own a 4K HDR TV or plan on buying one, then I would recommend going with the PS4 PRO or waiting until year's end when the price will drop on the PRO and the 2016 4K HDR TV models go on clearance.

Horizon Zero Dawn for me has made the investment already worth the money and it should only get better from here on out.

Try deleting the app then installing it again. That worked for some people on Reddit.
