Price is what I expected. My hold up is that I'm happy with my 360 and ps3. I wish they had waited a year or 2 and let us enjoy the current gen a little longer.

Should of called the spike coverage just XBOX ONE COVERAGE, because it is extremely one sided it is staggering. Also not surprising EA is next main big one which is also partnered with MS.

I don't get why people complain about the price. If gaming is your big hobby then $500 isn't a ton for years of entertainment.

It is for us guys who have a wife, kids and bills to pay.

Explaining to your wife why you just dropped 700+ after controllers,games, ect. isn't simple to get out of that mess of what could be a possible argument.

I was sincerely hoping for a $399 PS4 price, but got to admit that the ONE price just seem to justify an increse over Sonys speculated entry price, a $100 dollars is too much of a difference when you are tarjeting almost the same market.

I was getting comfort with the idea of being able to buy the console, a game and maybe a controller for something around $500 ... I am not anymore, then again, I guess there is hope as Sony has yet to make its presentation.

That's the hold up for me. I like gaming but other priorities and hobbies make buying this console at 500 bucks less of an impulse buy.

Windows 8 may not take off, but I love the Lumia 920 with Windows Mobile.

And for Smartglass, you don't actually need Windows 8. I just wish they would give Android the same capabilities that iOS and Windows platform stuff has.

Yeah, not sure why we're up in arms about $500 for a console when an iPad is that expensive...

... but I will respond by saying they're both extremely ****ing expensive, which is why I wouldn't ever buy either of those, especially at that price point.

The problem with X1 though is that $500 is the base level for the console. Want two games? $120 more. Xbox Live? $50 per year. iPad apps aren't going to be shelling you out hundreds of dollars more. Accessories? Sure. But then again, I hate the iPad, so this is tough for me to defend anything here.
