I dont think anything with Windows 8 is going to take off.

I still haven't reinstalled it on my computer yet because of all of its issues.

I need to find something to do for an hour and a half. EA better impress.

Man, I hope so. I've fallen so far out of love with sports video gaming over the last few years. EA Sports better bring it this afternoon. Give me something to look forward to.

I will be buying NCAA Football this year for the first time in 3 years however. Sad it takes a 3 year span to get me to want to buy a football game. This needs to change.

I'm not sure why people are surprised at the price. Hell, games are probably going to cost $60 or $70 this generation.

There's no chance I get either console at release, though. I'm not paying that much. Many will pay that much, though. I may not buy either console this gen, though I will probably cave at some point. I barely play my 360 anymore and have tended to drift towards PC gaming over the last couple years.

Yeah, I just didn't think it would go above 399.

I'm more likely to hold off for a bit now, given that I don't game on console as much and in general am more on PC or portables.

I'll wait to hear what PS4 is selling for, what it's offering, and maybe consider that as well.

The higher prices just make it more of a "decision" vs. a minor impulse buy. I can more easily justify 300 or 400 in my own mind vs 500 bucks. Does that make sense?

Price is what I expected. My hold up is that I'm happy with my 360 and ps3. I wish they had waited a year or 2 and let us enjoy the current gen a little longer.

I think if you're happy with the current gen, this coming out now is a plus for you with MS actually supporting the 360 unlike the Xbox (and I presume Sony will continue to support the PS3 as well). Gives you the chance to wait for a price drop by the time you're ready.

I don't get why people complain about the price. If gaming is your big hobby then $500 isn't a ton for years of entertainment.
