Well today definitely was a great day for gamers. MS showed a new SKU, with a new design.

New XBL GOLD advantages for members including free games monthly & family share

We saw some great games for the X1, including Dead Rising 3, Ryse & Titan Fall, not to mention a quick clip from Quantum Break.

Battlefield looked Epic & we were teased by Matter Chief


Sony had its console reveal. Talked Vita & PS3. Showed some great exclusive content like Final Fantasy & Kingdom Hearts. The Order 1866 & some nice gameplay from Destiny.

Talked Indy Developers & Indy Games coming to the PS4.

Then finally No DRM. No online checks & a price point of $399

All in all this was 1 of the best E3's in a long time

Sony won E3 but fail to see how they "Destroyed, kicked MS ***...etc...
Neither showing was very good at all.

Because everyone knows games will come. $400 for the more powerful and same freedom we have now is speaking to the gamers.

$500 for restrictive Spybox. Let's be real for a second.

Oh, how I wanted Sony to make it easy on me and just set a $500 price tag.

I'm now sitting at 60/40 for PS4/XB1, and this is coming after I had my heart set on getting an XB1 on launch day...

Pretty much my thoughts exactly. I pre-ordered the PS4 and decided that if Microsoft went back on any of it's weird restrictions, I might reconsider. It's kind of a moot point because I'll end up with both at some point, but there's something to be said for getting used to one console and using that as your primary way of playing third-party titles.

I've had six friends text me and say they already went with the PS4 and pre-ordered it. Six.

All of my friends are Microsoft guys, so I'm the first one jumping ship from the group.

I'm not saying I'm never going to get a One, in fact, I'll for sure get one before Halo 5 comes out. I just haven't seen much of anything that would sway me towards getting an Xbox at launch after Sony's presentation tonight.

Battlefront 3 announcement was the best part. 8 years of waiting pays off haha. Oh and Sony stickin it to Microsoft today was priceless.

Nope, just the end of year window. Will no doubt be early to mid November.
