Pretty much taking a hiatus from the 360 outside of State of Decay...will trade it in towards my XBO when it's gets closer...

Been playing my NES and arcades way more anyways lately...they'll keep me busy until the Bone drops...

How much do you guys think I should sell my 4GB 360 for? Im a college student so I will need the money to buy the new console. I plan on selling everything together: 4GB console, 250 GB HD, XP500 TB Headset, 1 Black controller, 1 silver(shiny) controller, 2 Play&Charge kits, BLOPs2, NBA 2k13, Mod War 2, Choops2k8, and Skyrim

Sadly, if you don't do it soon, you won't get much. I'd expect maybe around $150 back for all of that. The only thing I see you actually getting money back on would be the console (Around $80) and the Hard Drive (Around $40).

Makes sense. I figure as soon as they announce release dates, trade in value on both current gen systems will start dropping tremendously. I'm going to keep my PS3 but there was a period of time where I considered trading it and all of my games in for a Vita and a few games.

I bought a slim 250 gb 360 like 4 months ago and all it does it collect dust for the most part. I play Fifa 13 from time to time but thats about it. I tried Halo and got bored with the main story after a few hrs. Multi player was kinda fun but i wasnt spending more money for all the other maps and stuff.

Thought about trading it at GS but i would only get like $160 ish for everything. Roughly half what i paid for the system alone. ill just sell it on craigslist, at least there i know i can get like 250 for everything. Ill be getting a Ps 4 but probably not until next year, so in the meantime ill be getting a ps3 for The Last of Us and The Show

Nope, getting rid of both my PS3 and 360, in fact, im trying to sell my PS3 now. I really need to focus on my CCNA and get it before 09/30, so I may sell both my systems til the new ones come out. I kind of done with the current gen systems now that the new ones are coming out, im ready for something new.

If I have anything related to video games, I'm keeping it. You could do a 200% trade in value for old systems, I wouldn't trade it in.

I'm keeping my ps3 and my 360 I'm gonna be moving my ps3 up to my daughters room so she can watch blue ray movies and not have to be on my ps4, and the 360 for the little dance games and stuff that my 2 year old loves so much

- Deus Ex: Human Revolution
- Fallout 3
- Heavy Rain
- L.A. Noire
- Mass Effect 2
- Mass Effect 3
- MLB The Show 13 (Downloaded Digital)
- The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion
- The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

To be honest, I think those games are worth keeping a system for. I'd move it into my bedroom or media room and use it for those games, Blu-Ray and Netflix.

I would trade it in. Gamestop is doing 30% extra on trade-in's for systems/games featured at E3. I never suggest Pawn Shops because they will rip you off in a second. And I wouldn't recommend eBay because everyone and their mother is going to be trying to sell their 360 and PS3 on eBay. Not to mention, you lose money on the shipping process.

Gamestop is a rip off as well. You will get the most value for your console selling it second hand on craigslist.

This is pretty much me. Selling 360 now and ps3 closer to launch. All I play is Blackops, Battlefield, and 2k anyway. All of which are coming to ps4.

I am keeping my PS3 for the following reasons:

- Rock Band
- APF 2k8
- Batman Arkham games
- Lots of quality entertainment in "old" PS3 games that will be real cheap once the PS4 arrives.

Basically, I have too much invested in the PS3 to get rid of it. I still play Xbox games, and I expect the PS3 to continue to provide entertainment for years to come.

I have over $1500 invested in Rock Band music alone, so, yeah, I'm keeping my 360 forever.

I could go either way on the PS3 though, but it never hurts to have an extra Blu-ray player sitting around.

Now that I think about it, I don't wanna get rid of m PS3. Especially, with the MGS legacy collection and GTA V on the way.

When I got my first PS3 (the week of release), I used it to play PS2 games (mostly Final Fantasy 12 and Madden) for about three or four months, because they looked much better on my then new HDTV than on the PS2, and to play a few bluerays.

After that one died, my PS2 library (about 30 games) has either collected dust or been given to nephews, since my newer PS3 isnt backwards compatable. I gave my PS2 to a nephew, who killed it.

Since the PS4 isnt backwards compatible, and I have no interest in any of the games that will be available at release, Im just gonna be a PS3 gamer until FF15 come out. I have zero trust in EA to put out a quality product for the new generation the first cycle, and will just play Madden 25 on the PS3.
