I just ordered mine from Amazon. I have zero interest in Battlefield but who cares, I can flip the game! Yay!!!

Question: I am a prime member. Will my console arrive on the 15th with the free 2 day shipping OR do I need to change shipping to next day so that to get delivery on the 15th. I would HATE for a Friday delivery to become Monday...

2 day shipping wlll get you the console on the 15th. I don't recall there being next day shipping. Amazon normally ships out a game/console 2 days before so you will get it by the 15th.

If you picked 2 day prime shipping, that is the same as release date delivery, but I'm not sure if the orders from today are guaranteed for launch. This is what it says for my delivery estimate, "We need a little more time to provide you with a good estimate. We'll notify you via e-mail as soon as we have an estimated delivery date."

If you picked 2 day prime shipping, that is the same as release date delivery, but I'm not sure if the orders from today are guaranteed for launch. My buddies Dad is a store manager at Walmart, he told me that they will sell out of PS4's on release date, but each week afterwards they will start getting more in, and won't be a fiasco like the Wii and PS3 release. I wouldn't pay double or triple for one, just wait a week or two and you will be able to get one.

Are you sure? Because I just got off the phone with amazon and they said on the launch ps4 if I select 2 day shipping I'll get it on the 16Th which makes no sense to me. I selected 1 day shipping, but it's more expensive and wanted to change it to 2 day shipping and still get it on launch day..

I believe it is only if you are a prime member. Prime members get free release day delivery and free 2 day shipping, so just select the free 2 day shipping and they get it to you on release day (it is usually sent the night before with 1 day shipping.)

For non prime users they probably still ship out the night before, so 1 day will get there on release day, 2 day would be the day after.

Just my guess...I jumped on prime when they stopped with the .99 release day shipping. i realized the free to stream with prime had a lot of the same stuff as netflix and the yearly cost would be less than a year of netflix. Since I buy a lot of stuff on amazon, the free 2 day shipping and free release day shipping was basically just a bonus.

It might be different for people without Prime because I've had Prime since they removed the separate Release Day Shipping option, but at least for Prime members, 2-day shipping gets you the item on release day. I have 2 day selected on my Xbox One preorder and the estimated delivery date is 11/22, and I've ordered many games and movies in the past with 2 day and received them on release day.

Thanks for the info. I went with one day shipping for now. Once Amazon updates their info on when they're shipping out the consoles I'll see if I can change it to 2 days and still get it on launch day just to save some money.

I changed my order from yesterday from 2 day shipping to the regular shipping, then back to 2 day and now I have an estimated release date of 11/15. So if you are getting the "little more time" message, try changing the shipping option, then change it back.

if you have a local toys r us try there on launch date. I went to mine and the guy said they aren't doing pre-orders in store and to just show up on launch day. First come first serve.

haha me too. I didn't pre-order one either.

Luckily my work schedule I have that friday-sunday off to search.

Also, I have 4 gamestops, 2 wal-marts, a best Buy, Frys, Toys-r-us and 2 Targets in a 15 mile radius I can search

Yeah. I remember when I preordered back in June it stated on the order page that if I wanted the ps4 on release date, choose two day shipping. I'm also a prime member. My estimated delivery date is November 15. Have ordered a ton of things from amazon and the delivery date has always been on point and accurate.

My estimated delivery date is November 15. Have ordered a ton of things from amazon and the delivery date has always been on point and accurate.

Cool thanks. I'm not a prime member so I went with one day shipping. Lets see when amazon updates my order then I'll see if I can change it to 2 day shipping to save some money.
