That's a more legit list of AAA exclusives announced/already out on both consoles. Look up the games for yourself and judge which you think are better.

You just named a bunch of games for both systems that aren't out, and you have no idea if they're any good or not. This is how you derail threads.

I listed the games already out/coming out in the next 17 months or less for the consoles and told him to look them up to see which set of exclusives best suits his likes. The only people derailing the thread are the ones arguing opinions of what set of exclusives are better when only the OPs opinion matters.

If you can only buy 1 system then exclusives should always be the deciding factor in what you buy. Period. There is never going to be that massive of a difference in online play/3rd party game performance to warrant choosing a system that has what you feel is a weaker set of exclusives.(and if you are worried about what 3rd party games play the best on the answer is neither and PC 8/10 times)

You also have my second favorite X1 game, Powerstar Golf. It's a small game but im addicted to it and it's the only golf game on next gen consoles until Golf Club comes out. Golf Club looks really cool and ill probably buy it for the PS4, but I doubt ill ever stop going back to Powerstar every once in a while.

And GT7 is due out holiday 2015.

and that probably means 2016 lol. Regardless, im a huge sim race gaming fan and I couldn't wait even until 2015 or until Project Cars comes out to get my sim racing fix. Forza is the best game ive played on either console thus far.


Anyway, there are great games coming out for both consoles. Like you stated, to each their own. It's a great time to be a gamer.

Like I said I was listing AAA games officially announced/already out and at min coming out in 2015. Everything you named failed at one of those criteria. I would be sitting here all day if I tried to list non AAA exclusives for the systems, or IPs owned by Sony/MS with no official games announced yet.

There are good exclusives on both consoles, I personally couldn't see myself not owning both by the end of the gen. As a gamer you do yourself dis justice by only playing on a single brand.

I don't care about your criteria. Both systems have excellent games coming out. It just depends on which you prefer. I like the X1's exclusives slightly better, mainly because of Forza and Halo, but I have both consoles and will be gaming on both consoles. My only criteria will be if the game is good.

It's not DLC, it's a stand alone game with an AAA budget comparative to it's price point. Sounds like you just want to fan boy in this thread, if you think a damn dancing game should be a reason an adult male on a sports forum buys an xbox one and is worth listing... well.... okay. I listed actual games that are worth checking out for 90% of gamers on the system not these niche markets you are hell bent on throwing out there.

You listed a bunch of indy games(most of which are on pc as well), a f2p fighting game, a minecraft ripoff that's also available on pc, and a terrible dancing game, and a game that doesn't even have a sequel announced. No that doesn't fit my criteria, and if I wanted to list all of that type of crap for both systems do you know how long the lists would be?

I was worried this might happen when the OP posted his question.

The bottom line is, as far as picking one system over the other, I say it doesn't really matter. Eventually I think anyone really interested in gaming should own both, they are both great enough in their own merits to warrant dual ownership, unless you really don't like the exclusives on one or the other.

PS3 vs 360 had some pretty significant differences and this kind of debate was much deeper. I truly feel like this generation you are fine either way. I know that doesn't help very much but, to me, it is the stone cold truth.
