Frys has it in stock, it's hard not to just go pick the thing up. I'm being good though, will wait until bonus is in hand and then order it from Best Buy, reward zone certs will go towards my One X.

None in store though, will have to wait a couple days for shipping.

I don't think you will be disappointed. The quality is superb and the stand is rock steady.

The only con I have is there is noticeable light bleed in the corners but only on completely black screens is when i notice it.

For movies, the best program I used is Leawo btw. Crops the movies perfectly without cutting off anything.

Good to know. Yeah light bleed hasn't ever really bothered me a ton, I have a Qnix w/ a noticeable amount of it.

Frys has it for $50 cheaper, so probably get the price match at Best Buy and then add the warranty for less than that amount anyways.

Finally got to game with the Asus. Just beautiful and so smooth.

I'm thinking of getting a vertical stand and mounting my 27 inch Samsung above it. Its not being used now and don't have the space on my desk to put next to it

I have recently been researching gaming monitors and looking to buy one soon just for PS4 gaming (so only need 60hz). I heard having a gaming monitor helps be more competitive having less input lag and response rates. I am looking to spend less than $250 but would be great if there was an excellent option for less than $200 and would like to have low input lag and response time. I play mostly mlb the show and madden and sometimes a call of Duty. So what are your suggestions to what i should look to buy for the less than $250?
What are your suggestions for my budget and wants? Should I go TN or IPS panel? 24" or 27" screen preference? I have been looking between Asus and BenQ brands, but open to others if they have a great option for the money. Any input is appreciated!

If you're going for performance, and aren't worried about 4k or HDR, I was very pleased with my BenQ RL2755HM. It's a TN panel, so not the best viewing angles, but it was excellent for the money (I paid $260). I used it for 2 years and noticed no ghosting or any response time issues. Color & brightness were great too, once you play with the settings. I think it's been replaced by the RL2755 now.. but it's basically the same. You could get the 24" to save a little money, but I found the 27" to be a perfect size to sit in front of (at a computer desk).

Returned the LG monitor. It was a nice monitor but I'll wait for HDR monitors to become cheaper and get one. HDR makes a big difference for me at least.

Office is a mess and have some statues encroaching on my space because I need to go get a new shelf, but I love my monitor.

Only complaint is I think I heard my 1080ti fan for the first time, lol.

Rocket League and TitanFall 2 at 100FPS is glorious.

The LG is kind of a stop-gap for me. I've never seen the PS4 in full HDR (in person) so I don't know what I'm missing. Ha. Hopefully prices get a bit more reasonable next year or so on the HDR monitors..
