Anyone using a gaming monitor to play NBA 2K with Xbox or PS4?
IDK what the problem is. But I have tried to play NBA 2K with both consoles on 3 hdtvs (one of which is new and all are being used on 'gaming mode'), and all of them struggle with some sort of lag/delay. I don't know if it qualifies as input lag or display lag or another term I'm not familiar with. Players just don't seem as responsive to my inputs. I know it's not the console or controllers because they all have been replaced multiple times. I know its not "all in my head", because I've been playing 2K for years and this is a new problem. It started for me with NBA 2K15. After playing it for a whole year since launch, one day everything changed and my players just wouldn't respond properly. There is a delay when changing directions. When I got 2K16, everything seemed okay for a few days then it went down the drain.
Can anyone suggest a gaming monitor for me? I don't want to pay more than $300 because I just bought a tv in July hoping that would fix the problem. This is super frustrating for me because I've been playing 2K since Dreamcast and I know that something is wrong with respect to movement. It's super hard for me to be competitive in matches because my player simply doesn't respond to my inputs quickly enough. Directional movement is the issue.

Asus is great too, just find something with 1ms response time, there's a bunch of them and I got good one for under 200 bucks, NO input lag. I hear nothing but great things with Benq and you can find one in a good price range but at 24"Comment

for the issue you are having benq is best as the input lag is below 10ms
I play 2K on my 65KS8500 HDTV with like 22ms of input lag and feels smooth. If you game on the BenQ the response from your button press to the action on the screen will be instant unlike many hdtvs with high input lag.
Asus is good to but BENQ to me offers the best performance wise for consoles. The PQ wont be mind blowing but gaming willComment
