 Re: Gaming Monitor discussion

I think anything from 24" to 27" is 'solid and you really can't do wrong' either way. 27" is much nicer for a game like say, UC4 but for shooters I enjoy 24".

But i can def see either or, although I wouldn't push past 27" if you're sitting at a gaming desk. I've seen dudes with 32 in monitors for their gaming desk setup. Seems a bit much but to each their own.Comment

 Re: Gaming Monitor discussion

Well I have a triple monitor setup BUT the main game monitor is the 27", plus when you add in the height difference, it can be a pain if the mouse gets stuck at the top corner of the 27". 24" BenQ or the ASUS VG248QE is what I'm leaning towards.

Here is the current monitor setupAttached FilesComment

 Re: Gaming Monitor discussion

Thanks a bunch Bolt, its far from perfect but gets the job done. I need 3 upgrades to be honest.

 1) Downgrade from 27" to 24" main monitor
 2) Upgrade from my I5-4690k to I7-4790k
 3) Upgrade the AMD 290 to a 1070.

I can stream almost everything out there but certain titles are a little to much for the I5.Comment

 Re: Gaming Monitor discussion

Thanks man, yeah I know it's not 4k but still as good if you ask me. I bought a new TV back in February and the response time is like 33.6 ms and the motion blur I had was killing me experience.

My true test was NHL 17 and man like night and day. I was actually able to play and see the puck so well and no blur whatsoever , I mean it really has changed the experience. Even when playing 2k17 on my TV the back and forth there was this annoying blur, thats all gone now. I don't think I'll be going back to game on a TV again. 👍👍

Finally got my Predator outta the box, up on the wall, and turned on. Man it is gorgeous. Im gonna play something good intensive tomorrow like Rise of the Tomb Raider but man I just love the size of it, it's like a second TV.Originally posted by G PericoIf I ain't got it, then I gotta take it
