Re: Gaming Monitor discussion
Regarding HDR monitors and the 1K price range.

And we've talked about the 32" LG suggested in the reddit thread already. That's a no go, it isn't a true HDR (only 400 nits or so, far too low).Comment

Too bad. I'm impatiently waiting for a true HDR monitor to hit. I'll pay the price for it.PS4 | jamiedallaireComment

Re: Gaming Monitor discussion
I'm just showing it because it's new, I wouldn't at that price either. We'll find a solid HDR one eventually. At a fair, reasonable price hopefully.Comment

Re: Gaming Monitor discussion
This thing fits perfectly on my desk. I won't get to use it much until Monday, but I played a quick game of 2K and a few rounds of Battlefield and there's a significant difference. I feel like I've been playing Battlefield with a handi cap for a while now... so much more clear and vivid...
I'll clean up the wires and experiment with settings and viewing angles. I'm really, really happy with the purchase. I don't have a nice 4K HDR TV to compare, but I've been wanting to switch to a monitor for a long time and this is definitely an upgrade.
Thanks for all the feedback on your purchases. It definitely helped me make the decision to upgrade.Attached FilesComment

Re: Gaming Monitor discussion
Those of us with 4K monitors waiting for the price to come down on HDR monitors. Well maybe you really don't need HDR anytime soon.
