Re: PS VR
I read a PS VR review last night that has really made me rethink wanting to buy this so I figured I'd ask you guys who have it, or have played it your thoughts.
The reviewer complained about when you stood still and like would pick up something to examine it that his hand would shake, as if he had like Parkinsons or something. He said it was very annoying and even made it hard to read some things in some games that you were supposed to pick up and read.
One comment on the article by a guy said he had a similar issue and it was interference in his power supply or something and he fixed it but no one else really said anything about it.
So is this an issue do you guys think or not?Streaming PC & PS5 games, join me most nights after 6:00pm ET on TwitchTV https://www.twitch.tv/shaunh20

Re: PS VR
IMO it's something you have to experience yourself. There's been a lot of discussion here already from those with it and seems the overall experience has been great.
I have not had any "Hand shaking" issues. I've played Rush of Blood etc.. with zero issues. Even when doing the Diamond Heist I had no issues. I was also blown away when I blew out while smoking in game and in game smoke came out of players mouth.
There are some times where you have to hold option button down to recenter etc.. but that's about it.
I went through the PS4 device settings to calibrate eye distance etc.. as well as lowered brightness there (as suggested in some vid I seen)..
I have zero regrets buying it. You get such a new experience with "being there" etc.. despite the lower rez.
Hell I even had a blast with the DriveClub VR demo.
It's just a new way to experience gaming which is what the main thing is for me. Excited to see what's in the future.
Again I'd say try the demo system at store if you can as everyone is different.Last edited by Skyboxer; 10-24-2016, 05:20 PM.Joshua:

Re: PS VR
Like Skyboxer says, its best to try it in a demo before you purchase, just to see how you adapt to it. I had zero issues but I only played 3 games. Some games may perform poorly than others just like regular games but maybe someone else can rate which games they might be.
Regarding the low resolutions, those who will be getting a PS Pro will be surely getting a much more premium visual experience as was expected.Comment

Re: PS VR
Giant Bomb had that issue and really raised on it, practically scaring me off. But I've had zero issues. Now Drive Club did make me sick but that was just the nature of the game.
Batman blew me away. Man what an experience. Haven't felt anything like that in my life in gaming. I felt like I was Batman.
I really want to get VR Worlds just for London Heist but guess that will be the first freebie or massive price drop since it's a pack in game for a bundle.
May pick up Carnival games tomorrow. Only own Batman and Job Simulator so far. Debating Rush of Blood but the demo made me a little messed up since it's a roller coaster and those mess me up in real life. But talk about something that made you feel "there".

Re: PS VR
Not long now! PlayStation VR is due out on October 13 in North America. We know you’ve been looking for more info on what games you’ll be playing this year and into early 2017 -- read on below for the full list as it currently stands. We’ll keep this updated with any major shifts as [...]
Also, FYI. I hear Robinson: The Journey is getting good previews but it sounds the game is 5-6 hours long at a hefty price of $60. The devs have said that there are secrets you can follow through to enhance the game time so take that for what its worth. They also said that they will be speaking about improvements soon of what they'll do with the PS Pro so this may be a title you might want to wait on. Especially for a price drop.Comment

I hate that short of a game so that's where GCU comes in.Joshua:

Amazon has Robinson the Journey for $40. With the prime discount it's only $31.
