I've eaten way too much Taco Bell lately in my fruitless endeavor to replicate EG's luck...to no avail. I guess I can only win Microsoft stuff..

I'm telling you guys the DriveClub VR Game, not the demo, the game is superior to the demo. The immersion is sublime and You will get your VR Legs, but check this out.

I agree..once you get the initial "motion sickness" out of the way and set up and calibrate your headset properly (eye to eye measurement helped me immensely with motion sickness) Driveclub vr is quite impressive and fun. I drive a million times better in VR than I do in the regular version. Really enjoy playing this game with vr.

It's the best VR launch game.......hands down.
Looking into corner helps loads with motion sickness, let the movement of your head follow the game controller input & you should be good.

I still think Rush of Blood is tops so far.
(I've only played the Drive Club Demo but it didn't get me sick and was pretty fun)

I'll see how long it takes Gran Turismo to release before possibly jumping on Drive Club....

Definitely enjoying Rush of Blood as well. The only issue I have is that at certain parts of the coaster, like on a bend or turn, my body "virtual" body and hands get out of sync. The only way I can get it back to the right position is to close the game and get back in. Recalibrating through the game doesn't do anything. Its funny because when I start playing id be facing my TV and then after a while id be facing the wall when my body gets all out of sync

Not sure if you or anyone else has this issue. Curious to see if there was a fix besides closing the app.

Although I enjoyed Arkham VR the lack of gameplay annoyed me,I wanted to walk around & explore the game world but it felt more like s 15 year old CSI game with it's button prompted movements.
Also to have vehicles that are not even useable or visually rendered when batman is in them is criminal.
I'm concerned that no game has included any FPS gameplay, maybe it is too nauseating for the player.

I wonder why one might surmise that. I played KillZone 3 in 3D with the Move controller, and had a blast with it. It wasn't even in 60 FPS. Not exactly the same as VR, but it can't be a significantly different experience either. Not sure really.

That game type really seems to be the one kind I'd love to try with VR though, even more than sports games.

VR is an entirely different ball game than 3D. With 3D you're still starting with a flat image, then simply adding more depth. VR is attempting to mimic the feeling of actually being there. That's why so many get sick if the settings are off.

I know you mentioned before you haven't experienced VR yet but believe me, VR and 3D are like apples and oranges.

Yeah as someone who's now done both.. they certainly aren't the same.
Never gotten nauseated in 3D but if there's weird movements etc.. in VR I start sweating right away.

Thanks. And yeah wow, seems like a far different comparison! Forget even an apples and oranges comparison... apples and organs really literally have nothing to compare!
