Re: PS VR
I heard there are some options to make it a little easier on you. Something about locking the view to the cockpit and not letting the camera track your head. I’ll be starting with that.Comment

Gamestop is offering a discount price on the Wipeout Omega series. Just checked to see if a local store had it and it does. It's cheaper than the PS Store especially if you're a member.

Here’s my question, and this applies to VR videos in general. If I watch this WWE video on YouTube on my phone it’s crystal clear HD. On YouTube or in their app on PSVR, the quality is no where near as good. Is this expected? Is the headset not capable of the quality?
Yup it’s expected. The video quality is not even close to perfect. I’m not sure if it’s the headset though. I think it has more to do with the machine that’s processing the VR image. That’s why it’s a little better with the Pro. I could be wrong on that though.Comment

Re: PS VR
Yup, a little of both from what Ricky said. You could even add software as some studios do their applications better than others. The headset's display resolution is only 960 x 1080 resolution per eye and your field of view is only 100 degrees instead of the 100-110 you get with the other competitor headsets.

Do you think they will release a new/better headset in the near future? I was hoping our current ones would work with whatever the next consoles VR situation is.Last edited by ricky24; 04-05-2018, 09:58 PM.Comment

Re: PS VR
Yes I do but not until during, or after PS5 is announced. The headset will be stronger than version 1. Version 1 will and should be compatible with the PS5. The move controllers should be new versions soon.Comment

Re: PS VR
It was recently identified in the Ubisoft forums that the Watson's IBM Voice Recognition was to be discontinued for Star Trek: Bridge Crew. Apparently, that decision has been rescinded. Red Storm and Ubisoft has confirmed that support will continue through 2018.
