Set arrived today, everything looks like it's in good shape so I'll probably mess around with it after work tonight. NMS is definitely going to be the highlight and the primary reason I got the thing (day 1 adopter of that game so I've been through all the ups and downs), but I also picked up GT7 and there's the Horizon pack-in with the bundle. May look into Phasmo, though I'm not sure how good of an experience that is single-player. Will be watching Hitman too to see if it holds that March release date.

Getting it to work on PC eventually is also on my radar, but as I understand it I'd need the adapter, a displayport cable, and a specific bluetooth dongle. May get the adapter now if I see a Black Friday deal, but the other stuff I'm not too worried about costs being too high. Nor am I too worried about it right away as the PS5 games are going to keep me busy enough as is.

You would think something like this would be on a bigger stage or special promo announcement, but instead its a ho-hum demo on display.... It was shown today at the SIGGRAPH Asia 2024 on a Sony PSVR2 booth! I get it, lost hardware controller revenues so keep it quiet!!!!!! Lol

Spent a few minutes playing BEHEMOTH to take in the scale of the scenery. Going to wait to start playing this after the Dec 12 update which is suppose to enhance what is an already amazing gameplay experience

To bring this kind of content to visionOS, Apple approached Sony earlier this year to bring support for PlayStation VR2's Sense controllers to Vision Pro, Gurman reports. This would also include support for navigating the visionOS interfaces.

Sony currently doesn't sell the PS VR2 Sense controllers separately, not even for replacements, but when this support launches it would start to, including at Apple Stores and from Apple's website.

Gurman claims Apple and Sony originally intended to announce the support "weeks ago", and that the rollout has been postponed. "My expectation is that an announcement will still come at some point — unless it gets abruptly scrapped.", he writes.
