The Sony PSVR2 Headset is the best VR headset for PS5 owners, but it has always been an expensive purchase. Thankfully, Sony announced just yesterday that the company would be dropping the recommended retail price of the headset down to $399.99. This price cut brings it more in line with the Meta Quest 3 competitor, which is currently $499 for the Quest 3 and $299 for the Quest 3S.

Picked up a Horizon bundle through Amazon for $250, it was a used like new open box item. Was a little worried but it came in and the box was a little rough but it had all the contents including the Horizon code intact. Got it hooked up and wow, very impressed. This is my first VR experience and I am just blown away. Plan on getting some prescription lenses soon. So far I am really impressed!

I still need to play Horizon. Unfortunately ALL of my VR plans got shelved for a month or two while I've been getting over some elbow/upper arm issues.

Still looking forward to Hitman near the end of the month.

Gran Turismo Sophy (GT Sophy) is the next-generation racing AI agent that is being developed in collaboration with Sony AI and Sony Interactive Entertainment.

GT Sophy 2.0 was introduced in Gran Turismo 7 in November 2023, and with Update 1.57 it will evolve into the new 2.1 version. (PlayStation®5 version only.)

GT Sophy 2.1 brings support to Custom Races. Until now, GT Sophy could be selected in Quick Race with preset race settings, but with this update players can now select GT Sophy for individual Rival Cars, and customise race settings such as tyre wear and fuel consumption, and set up one-make races using cars from their garage. (Certain settings are restricted.)
