Was going to try to get a pre order in but never got the email. I thought this was supposed to go up for preorders ever where today like Best Buy, target etc not just the invite thing. I guess its to try to keep scalpers away but pretty crappy way to do this. Not sure if pre orders are going to open up ever where else later or what. If its anything like ps5 than not getting a pre order means you likely will not be able to get one for years. I got a ps5 launch from pre order but I have not once seen a ps5 in stock online or in store even still.

PS5s are pretty easy to get now. They were available on PS direct pretty much all day today.

Don't know about direct but wouldn't say easy have still not seen them in stock at Best Buy, target, Walmart, amazon.

Sure but if you want one. You can get one. All of my friends have been able to get one and we live on an island in Alaska where we don’t have an electronics store.

Oh wow interesting. Well after posting that the other day I saw 1 last ps5 at Best Buy today first time seeing it lol. Just hope I can get a VR from per order like ps5 so I don't have to worry about being able to find one like how I didn't have to worry with ps5.

Loved Juneau. Amazed that the only way in or off is from boat or plane.

Just hope I can get a VR from per order like ps5 so I don't have to worry about being able to find one like how I didn't have to worry with ps5.

I would try entering a Gamestop and asking personally. Do it before the mad rush too. They may have useful information or list for you to go onto.

Very interested in Aliens (date TBD), Crossfire, and Firewall. Polish Paul recently identified Virtual Rifle Systems as a source for an Aim Controller Gun 2 in the works. Since I loved using the first one, I can't go back so I'll wait until one is out but both look like a blast.

Hmmm....Heard nothing but good reviews and I have a couple of broomsticks I can test once I get those controllers. Keeping an eye out. May add to my list. Better Than Life is aiming as a launch title for PSVR2 Feb 22!

Good news for PSVR players in regards to Unreal Engine 5.1 which recently released.

Nanite and Lumen initially didn’t work in VR. Developers of VR apps had to use the legacy geometry and lighting systems, negating many of the advantages of the new engine. But with Unreal Engine 5.1 Nanite & Lumen now work with VR, as confirmed by Heavenue CEO Alex Coulombe.

The public Unreal Engine 5 GitHub build works for PC VR, but Meta has its own UE5 branch it recommends for native Quest 2 development. Nanite & Lumen don’t work on Android though, and aren’t designed to work with mobile chips in general, so native Quest 2 games will be limited to the legacy tech.
