Question for Switch owners with young kids: My 7 year old son is getting one for Christmas. I have the warranty, of course. As well as the screen protector. Is there anything else you'd recommend as far as keeping it in tact? He's not rough with electronics; he has a fire that he has taken good care of for a few years now. It'll be docked in his room most of the time, I'm guessing. Just wondering if there's anything else you'd recommend.

Re: Nintendo Switch Discussion
Since it’ll be docked most of the time, I’d highly recommend the Pro Controller. I realize it doesn’t have anything to do with protection, but it’s just such a great accessory to use with the Switch.Comment

Thanks. I'll look into that. I got him the Zelda wired controller to play with when docked. Its pretty cool looking, too. How would you rate the joy cons as a regular controller when docked for games like Mario Kart?Comment

They are okay. But once I got a pro controller I never looked back.Comment

Re: Nintendo Switch Discussion
Anyone know if Switch games are region free? Thinking about buying a digital game from a seller from Europe but he doesn’t know if it will work on a US Switch.

Re: Nintendo Switch Discussion
Definitely region free. I've been recently buying games on the South African e store as they come out to $45.Comment

Re: Nintendo Switch Discussion
The past few days I've been going through the eShop and YouTube looking at various games to get an idea what future downloadable purchases I want to compliment Mario and Zelda.
I came up with what I think is a decent list though I'm sure I'm missing some:
Spoiler
Stardew Valley
Overcooked
The Flame in the Flood
Pinball FX3/Stern Pinball Arcade
Steamworld Dig 2
Floor Kids
Golf Story
Oceanhorn
Retro City Rampage
RiME
Human Resource Machine
Snack Pass
Snipperclips
Slain
Sonica Mania
Little Inferno
World of Goo
Infinite Minigolf
NBA Playgrounds
Severed
Just to start of course. I'm pumped for Christmas - I've been taking the box out of the closet and just looking at it like a little kid does at the store every time they go. Between Mario, Zelda, and the portability I'm excited.
