Going on a little 4-day trip to visit family and get some R&R. I have a few Switch-related goals for the journey:

-Complete the Trial of the Sword in Breath of the Wild.

-Start Cave Story

-Begin a MyLeague in NBA 2K18

Went 0-for-3, lol. On the bright side, the trip was awesome and I did wind up making a lot of progress in Mario + Rabbids, and should finish that in my next session.

Might pick up FIFA after I finish that, but then I see everyone praising Golf Story and Stardew Valley ...

Stardew Valley assumed full control of my life this weekend. The feedback loop is pretty crazy, as soon as one thing finishes you get new music, events, powers, tools, money, etc.

Almost impossible to put it down.

Seriously...I love farming, doing tools, mining, etc... I run out of time to do fishing or talk to everyone so far. It's a deeper Animal Crossing...

I have Stardew Valley as well, but it doesn't have the same appeal to me as Animal Crossing. I like having full days to do things, not the accelerated clock. I totally understand why you have that way in a farming game, I just wish I could adjust the clock speed so that I can accomplish more tasks in a day.

Ive been playing a lot of NBA 2K although I am rather bad at it. I remember the 2k12 days when I was beating the CPU on Hall of fame, now I'm being destroyed on pro mode.

Looking forward to Mario release. Thinking about trading Zelda in towards it.

Good points...which is why both are cool. I suppose I like how I can't get everything done in one day, but the option could be neat in order to get like a perfect farm or something.

Need to look more into the new AC mobile, but the tiny bit i read it seems fun. I'll get it lol. I do hope a future Switch version adds a bit more to do, or some thing new. More AC will always be fun, but hope they innovate a bit.

The Switch version will have to let you decorate your house's yard. You gotta think they are laying the groundwork for it with the campground customization. Did you watch the Nintendo Direct where they built a swimming pool for the campground, I want that in my character's yard in the next big AC game.

I haven't been able to watch the Direct yet...working out of town so videos on the laptop aren't best right now lol. I'll check it out tonight after we're done here. I've always loved the AC series, and there's a lot to do, but just feels they can do something more.
