I watched the Spiderman trailer a few minutes ago and wow. If that scene was gameplay I wonder if there are multiple choice points that have different outcomes. Me personally I'd have handled that a lot different and that chopper would've hit the ground and blew everyone beneath it to smithereens.

Game looked amazing though for sure. I'm no superhero game fan so I'll probably pass but it didn't look bad at all.

Anything is possible but the pro is Clearly worth the price it's at right now ever since i got mine in February I've not had any complaints about it!

I agree, love mine, freaking Injustice 2, Diablo and MLB the Show all look amazing on my 4K w/HDR!!

It's really crazy, in the inner circle (lol) of guys on my friends list, some of which are OSers...

I don't think any of them were going to upgrade to PS4 Pro. But I kept going on & on about how much I loved mine and all of them upgraded. I know it wasn't just my raving, I provided links as well but you get the point.

I am surprised I thought both pro and slim would get a 50 price drop. With Xbox one x costing 100 more if Sony were to cut the pro by 50 and be 150 less I think Xbox one x would be died on day 1.

But why would you want it to be dead on day 1? There is room for multiple successful consoles in the market (and it appears there are three that are proving to be successful at this point.) More options is better for all people and drives each company to try to be better. That's a poor outlook from a gamers perspective...

I don't think that he wants it to be dead on day one. I think he means that in terms of sales that it will be dead on day one. $500 is a lot of money to ask consumers for. PS4 Pro isn't exactly setting the world on fire and when you can buy a PS4 Slim and an Xbox One Slim for $500 OR either and a Switch for only $50 more, why would you buy a Scorpio especially if you don't own a 4KTV with HDR and WGC?

More options are always better but since this generation has been over since 2014. Scorpio isn't going to change that. I was really hoping that Scorpio was going to be delayed a year, have next year's CPU added in to the console, drop the "one" moniker and be Microsoft's fourth console. For $500, that would have been a far better move.

At $400 and Pro at $300, I still thought that Scorpio would outsell Pro head to head but at $500, no way. Scorpio is worth $500 tech and spec wise but outside of the hardcore gamers or those who want the current up to date stuff for gaming, few will buy it.

Plus, the games will be held back just like they are on Pro because they still have to run at the base level of the original console.

I personally hate mid gen consoles and wish neither existed. I would have preferred just the slims and then in 2019, next gen starts.

P.S. - If you're wondering why I keep saying Scorpio instead of "X", it's because I hate that name. It's beyond stupid and is going to cause mass confusion especially over the phone. Funny thing is that will the "X" even be printed on the box? I own an Xbox One Slim and in nowhere on the box does it have the "S". Curious to see what the boxing will look like for Scorpio.

Bro, I wanted one anyways, but the testimony you and Rez laid down for the Pro and LG 4K Monitor is ultimately what made me switch. I finally hit the point where I was tired of talking about it and waiting and had to act.

Kudos to Best Buy for the 7 day shipping to Japan with zero issues with either the Pro or Monitor. Not only did it make it to Japan, but it survived the Navy supply system.

I haven't regretted it one bit... great experience.

Let's be honest...Sony stepped on their throat years ago and if anything, Microsoft killed themselves as opposed to Sony killing them.

Oh, totally....but cocky Sony in the lead is a dangerous Sony....they tend to find some way to screw things up

It goes both ways. Microsoft was extremely cocky after the success of Xbox 360 and badly screwed up four years ago so let's be honest, they're both exactly the same and personally, I think that they take turns screwing up with each generation.

For me, it's all about their current and future games lineup. I agree but I have noticed that during the generation, you can get away with more if you're Sony or Microsoft. It's the start/beginning/reveal in which consumers turn. PS2 sold over 150M. PS3 and 360 are around 85M each so you can see where the 65M from PS2 went to when compared to the original Xbox 25M. And this generation, a lot of consumers left 360 and switched to PS4.

To me, it's all about the start/beginning/reveal of a new generation. That's when things can turn. A few years in, consumers and fans are already set in their ways and majority just stay as is. I can see fans buying a second or even third console but not eliminate their primary console but few actually change.

You disliked Wii U but enjoy the Switch. You changed your view and opinion with a new console launch as opposed to halfway through.
