Good luck and one place you may try if you have any problems finding is Toys-R-Us...I think they still sell consoles anyways. I recall in the older days when it was hard to find a console it was because everyone was looking at Gamestop or Best Buy but those are the spots everyone goes.

Maybe another place is Walmart and Target too. When Wii U's were impossible to find we scored ours at Walmart. No Gamestop or Best Buy had any.

I've read that Black Friday for PS4 Pro is supposed to mean like a $50 price drop is what they are saying. Just speculation of course but sounds about right.

The Kohl's BF ad leaked and they have a $199 slim listed. I'm hoping that bodes well for the Pro and I can get one for around $325. I can't wait to pick it up.

I see zero chance that Sony drops the PRO to 350 this holiday season or black friday

They will drop the slim for sure to 250 or 200 slim chance

But why drop the PRO to 350 when they have the Destiny Edition for 450 and the StarWars bundle for 450

Yea they come with games but you not going to sell the same console 100 less and expect to move the bundle consoles

Destiny can be had cheap used and if you drop to 350 that means for like 400 you can get it with destiny and the Destiny bundle at 450 would be useless. Same for the SW bundle

So one might say, well they can drop those bundles 50 each...And do what? upset the ones that spend full amount just a couple of weeks ago?

Help! I am starting to lean toward a PRO purchase, but the youtube videos of the loud fan noises are giving me pause. I don't want to go back to the xbox 360 days of having the console sound like a hairdryer. Is the noise issue overblown?

My thing about this I have the Pro and honest I should have stayed with the slim of the original because there isn’t that much of a difference in the games. Really isn’t , look up all the new comparisons on your tube. The slim hold up still just fine that it’s crazy the Pro dame out, yes I get 4K, but still

Frame rates alone for me were worth the upgrade.. especially with the Show.
Plus I never upgraded HDD so going from 500 to 1 TB was a plus for me too..

I hear ya, but when they do all these videos comparisons on YouTube especially digital foundry, they are both are running the same frames .

I've been thinking about it over the weekend and I've decided to just pick up a Slim. I like the benefits of the Pro, but I don't really need it. I'm not in a rush to upgrade to 4K either, so the Slim will fulfill my needs just fine.

I see major differences. I have a 4K TV though. But even with my regular 1080p tv, before I bought my 4K tv, I saw a huge difference in Shadow of Mordor with frame rates and the ability to do better graphics.

I haven't had any issues with fan noises with pro...its quiet..now my orig ps4 the fan would get loud on that not all time but certain times.

yeah greenegt - there's no real issues with noise, go with the Pro man, you won't regret it. No sense in buying outdated hardware you will just have to upgrade later on.

Haha. You guys got me flip-flopping. If I could just hear one in person, I would be able to make up my mind for good. Right now, I'm leaning back towards the Slim, but there's still time for another flip. lol

Pro easy choice. It's a major difference with 4k HDR
