So what games/accessories are you guys buying along with the PlayStation 5?

I'm buying Spider Man: Miles Morales as well as multi-platform games Watch Dogs Legion and Assassin's Creed Valhalla Digital Gold Edition.

Demons Souls and possibly NBA 2K. Plus I'm already entitled to Madden.

Spider-Man, sack boy, planet coaster, AC Valhalla and Watch Dogs are the ones I’m getting the PS5 version/case. I also have an extra controller and charger as well.

I grabbed an extra controller and the charging station. I was looking at grabbing a 25 ft 2.1 hdmi cable for my TV setup to future proof things. I looked it up though and my LG 86UM8070 only has hdmi 2.0 ports and I already have those so oh well. I'm definitely gonna grab Spiderman Ultimate Edition. I got the Mamba Edition of 2K, so I have the next gen version covered. Same with Madden. I'm really intrigued about how The Show will look on the PS5 as well. I'll probably grab COD Cold War too to have that big loud beautiful game next gen game experience.

You know.. I am a public servant and I know the general public very well.. but the fact you keep hinting the majority of console players are too dumb to slide off a side and unscrew a screw is beyond insulting. The PS5 is built to remove the sides for several reasons. Move on or go back to your Xbox thread man. Damn.

PS5 games: NBA2K, AC Valhalla. Likely Spidey, Demons Souls, Sackboy, Godfall, Hitman 3 over time between me or my kids.

But if all games are played using the SSD why would this matter? And if there was a serious issue with the disc I doubt either company would want you using it vertical.

Wait, so we can't lay the disc version flat? If not, PS5 definitely won't fit in my TV stand.

I just ordered my 10 foot long HDMI 2.1 cables in preparation for both consoles. Like you I can’t wait to see how much better MLB the show looks on the ps5. I really hope they focus on making the frame rates better

I got a set of the Pulse 3D’s, spider Man:MM Ultimate Edition, watch dogs (the mid grade) and the Gold Edition of AC Valhalla. A second controller rounds it out.

I'll get 3 more controllers, the camera, the remote, and the 3D headset eventually when they are all available and easy to buy, lol.

Game wise. I think day one I'm going CoD and NBA then rolling with my PS4 games for a long while.

Got the pulse, extra controller, charging station, media remote, camera, and probably picking up 2k21, COD, Madden, and Spiderman. Still have last gen backlog

I don't have a PS5 yet still trying to find one as I mentioned a few weeks back the rush to get it day 1 isn't here like I expected. I'll still buy one if I can find one I still haven't got around to upgrading my TV and surround sound. Since I am picky about the type of games I play and enjoy I wont be getting a lot of different games.

I will be getting the media remote as it looks neat I'll wait and see what the reviews say on it.


Watch Dogs Legion - I'm now buying it on the ps4 instead of ps5 since I don't want to wait till late November for the physical PS5 disk. I only play 1 non sports game at a time so I plan on playing this one for the rest of 2020. I'll now wait and make the 2nd play through on the new system and all of the season pass stuff.

NBA 2K - This game has me excited however I'm still waiting on my league news and the rosters so the rush isn't to get it at launch. If it has my league features I'll play this nearly everyday until the new one comes out in 21.

Spiderman MM - I will buy this one and wait for the ps5 however since I just finished a 2nd play through of the 1st game. I'm ok waiting for a little bit to play it.
