If you go to the 3:00 minute mark, you'll see JorRaptor give info on the game and did research about the game in which he found an interview from Counterplay back in 2018 regarding the game and them saying that they wanted to release it in 2019 which could only be for PS4 because obviously, next gen consoles weren't going to be out by then. Dev kits have only been in the hands of devs/pubs for a year already give or take so there's just no way. Plus when you look at that leaked trailer from a year ago, it looks good but does not look like a next gen title.

The trailer is from an early PC build that was going to be for PS4 later on. It was then moved to PS5 and 2020 as a launch title. After TGA, Counterplay said that they were excited to be working with Sony all the way up to launch so im guessing Sony paid them to make the game a PS5 console exclusive. The only question that remains would be if Sony paid for the game to be a full exclusive or if it's timed. The Epic Games Store has a one year exclusivity deal for the game so since Steam would get it in late 2021, it's definitely possible that the same could happen for Xbox. My personal guess is that the game is a one year timed exclusive but we'll see.

Oh ok i heard and saw the leaked game play that was from like a year ago and people said it was like on a super powerful pc back then. This was the first i had heard about any thing being said in 2018 about it and yeah counter play i never heard of before this.

I never heard of Counterplay Games before Godfall either but they did develop a PC/Mac game titled Duelyst which is a turn based strategy card game. Is a respectable 80 on Open Critic/82 on Meta Critic but both under 15 reviews. Seems like a good game for what it is but not many critics reviewed it.

"We're a tight-knit 75 person team with the vision to craft games focused on high levels of personal mastery, drawing from our past experiences working on the Ratchet & Clank series, God of War, Destiny 2, Horizon Zero Dawn, Diablo III, Gears 5, Star Wars Battlefront, Titanfall 2, Left 4 Dead 2, Evolve, Halo 5, Battlefield 3, Bioshock Infinite, Call of Duty, Injustice 2 and Overwatch."

This is what has me hyped and excited for Godfall. The level of talent that is at this studio and working on the game seems to be very experienced and damn good.

Oh wow they have people who have worked on popular and good games before then. Yeah i saw that another game in that video you posted.

So there are rumors about ps5 event on feb 5,12, 19, 29 i think. Also last 2 weeks there have been rumors that Sony was going to say when they were going to do a event yet we got nothing. I really wish Sony would come out and say when to put a end to this. Feb 5th i think is unlikely now has i think Sony would have confirmed that by now if it was then.

I just started following him a few weeks ago, but he is now my go to person for videos and info on youtube. He does really good about saying what is facts and what is speculation.

I just started following him a few weeks ago, but he is now my go to person for videos and info on youtube. He does really good about saying what is facts and what is speculation.

I have been following JorRaptor since AC Origins and yeah, he's real good. Very accurate and like you said, he states what's facts and what is pure speculation or rumors.

We are potentially 1-2 weeks away from a reveal according to rumors. I would love for it to be next Wednesday. Really looking forward to hearing real concrete details rather then leaks and speculation.

Still feel like we still have room to expands with visuals. I'm not expecting a huge leap. But I think with the more powerful console, it will allow developers to be able to hit most of little detail goals. I expect more realistic skin textures, overall texture, hair, lighting, and overall physics.

If games look better than GOW,Gears,Spiderman,RDR2(CPU) and Horizon I'll be satisfied.

I do think people will be suprised by the visuals there are certainly room for improvements.

Exactly. We have not hit the ceiling for visuals. It won't probably be a PS2->PS3 jump. But the little things alone put together, will make a noticeable difference. It seems like we shouldn't be held back by CPU this generation. So I'm expecting to see a difference next gen. We still have mannequin looking figure, so room to improve.

I am glad I held off on upgrading my TV to 4k and upgrading to the ps4 pro. This will make the visuals of the ps5 seem like a bigger jump.

If any invites are sent out they would probably need be about a 2 week notice. This would allow time for it the marketing hype to start and allow people to make flight planes. I assume this means you can rule out the first part of Feb.

I tend to agree. As much as I would like a Feb 5 reveal, I just don't see it being a complete surprise event. I'm sure NDAs has been signed and all that. But thats not the type of event that just pops up within a week. Unless they or someone credible drops a strong hint within next 3 days, I don't see it being next week. I would love to be wrong though.

You'll definitely see the jump since you didn't upgrade. I didn't plan on going to Pro, but got it as a gift. But after selling consoles last month, it'll be essentially a year without playing, so I'll see feel a difference.

When it comes to graphics i think we will still be impressed but not has often. I don't get blown away from graphics has much has i used to. During like ps2/xbox/gamecube gen just about all games graphics blew me away. If you are going from ps4 to ps5 and not from pro to ps5 it will be easier to be blow away just because of 4k.

Realistically, I can see late February. Unless everyone has kept their mouth shut, this isn't something that is kept quiet until week of.
For me, graphics aren't everything. I can play older games if they are great. I am looking forward to see more powerful CPU and Improved AI. I was/am satisfied with PS4 graphics. So anything better than that, I am satisfied with it. I'm looking forward to more vast open world, improved AI, better textures, improved Physics.

I'm sticking with March as there's been rumors of an Assassin's Creed 2020 reveal in March and im betting that Sony has the marketing rights which if they do, revealing the game at their PS5 reveal event would be huge especially when Ubisoft is one of the best when it comes to visuals and graphics.

One thing is for sure. Sony hasn't done anything major since E3 2018 which has been very disappointing. If Sony is doing a PS5 event, I wish they would just confirm it and announce the date already. Sony being dead silent makes me think that they may not being a PS5 event.

It really feels like Sony wants to control narrative. I don't really see them not announcing an event because they are worried about Xbox undercutting it. Xbox reveal was unexpected. So there is a chance that Sony might do the same. But besides the Wired Articles and Logo, I don't think there has been anything official from Sony.
I don't expect anything much from Xbox until E3. Besides possibly doing a full spec release before E3, I could see Xbox being essentially radio silent before that. One positive is Sony not being on a deadline or having to hold back. They can create their own timeline.
I expect Sony or highly credible sources to make a very strong hint about an event a couple weeks before it happens
