Just glad to be off today, my GF will be at work at that time and hopefully I can get my toddler to sleep around that time, if not she's watching it with me lol.

I'm not too caught up in predictions. I just want a good experience that shows a glimpse of what's to come with PS5. Glad they are focusing on games actually running on PS5 hardware and a PC with consoles specs. As stated before, most trailers and segments of videos will be uploaded in 4k after event is over, so I can deal with the 1080/30 stream. I do feel in some fashion we see what the console looks like. It's getting close to mass production time and they are obviously concerned over leaks, so it will be a good time to show it. Plus with the emphasis on running on actual PS5 hardware, It'll be good to see what it actually looks like. Even if it is just a glimpse or silhouette, I think they show it and at a later event, they show off Teardown, UI, and software features.

Looking back I shouldn't have scheduled getting my hair cut during the event. I would have had been at work anyway so I'll just wait and watch the 2nd half when I get home on a TV.

I'm thinking once they reveal price and I think that'll be around August.
I will be ready whenever it does. Feels like you are going to have to pre-order asap or it'll sell it quick. I'm hoping for a Best Buy or Walmart online pre-order

Yeah insomniac seems to be pretty fast. That also makes me think how long has ratchet and clank been in development if they are coming out with one on day 1? Ratchet and clank games have always had a pretty short time. Ratchet and clank on ps4 was like 10 months. Pretty crazy for how good it is. I think the longest that a ratchet and clank game has been in development is only like 16 months. By the time ps5 comes out it will have been like 4 years and 6-7 months sense ratchet and clank came out on ps4. Now i am not saying they have been working on it sense that with spiderman and some other games but even if only half that time it was being worked on it would still be like 2 years and 3 months or like 27 months total still like 11 months longer then any other ratchet game. In that kind of time it would be interesting to see just how good and how big ratchet could be.

Oh i think i was confusing Naughty dog and the new SD studio when it comes to the rumor about a new space game. Even so if the SD studio is doing Uncharted 5 depending on how far it is they may have another game after that on ps5 and if so maybe that could be a new ip in less they are just doing Uncharted 5 and 6. Housemarque i saw after you talked about them that they did Resogun. The other games you brought up i have not really heard of though.

Insomniac is definitely fast when it comes to developing games. I think R&C 2 is done already and should hopefully be revealed today. Not expecting anything related to Spider Man 2. It's too soon and no reason for Sony to show it until it's closer to launch.

Outside of the new San Diego Studio being rumored to be working on a new Uncharted game. I had them as a launch title a few months ago but now, I didn't even add them to my predictions. Could happen but I think they're further out because we haven't heard anything about what they're doing except for possible a new Uncharted game.

You should check out Housemarque's other games if you like 2D platformers and isometric twin stick shooters. I'm very excited to see what their new game is later today.

Yeah, I see them getting the PS4 exclusives sequels out in the first 2-3 years of generation, then introduce new IPs and reboots.
I do see more timed exclusives and 3rd party exclusives for Sony. I do feel there will be some 3rd Party publishers that will want to build games around Sony's SSD and Dualsense.

Yeah its hard to know like what is going on with that SD studio has we have no idea if they have been working on something for like a year or 2 years etc. With ratchet and clank the fact it is likely the ratchet game with the longest development of any ratchet game makes me even more excited for it and i am sure they will bring that fact up. Spiderman 2 i think we will see a short teaser. I have it has a late 2021 game and that would fall like right in the end of showing games that are a Year or less away.

Oh i see i love platformers games dk, Mario, sonic. Liked hat in time a lot.
