The Xbox Series X box. LOL. Honestly, it looks like a PC but its not actually a PC.

Glad they kept the controller virtually the same, but personally... as it looks closer and closer to a PC i'm finding it harder and harder to find a reason not to just buy a PC.

Cause it’s probably gonna be cheaper than buy the PC parts that are gonna be in this juggernaut.

Looking at the Hellblade 2 trailer....... yea I’m stoked to see madden and NCAA in these graphics. Holy crap

I mean no doubt consoles will ALWAYS be cheaper. But in reality, it kinda balances out because you dont need a subscription to play online, games can be cheaper because of third-party sites, and you can just upgrade parts instead of the entire thing.

I mean, ill probably buy this anyways unless i REALLY save up for a PC, but its short-term vs long-term cost.

If you don't have Game Pass Ultimate you're doing PC gaming wrong anyways.

Product looks interesting, no issues w/ form factor, looking forward to innovations on what is already a really strong platform.

I love it. And now that MLB The Show will be coming to Xbox, probably won't be buying the PS5.

I don't see any mention of what type of hard drive they will using. SSD? Mechanical? I would also hope they think of changing the type of media that games will be sold on. I would think using a microSD style of unit.

Word is they are using NVME 2.0 which is superior to regular ssd

I'm ok with the design. My initial thought was that it looked boring and so PC-like. But as long as it is designed so that it can handle high performance, then I'm all for function over form. But, I don't really care for the same. I get it if it confirms the rumors of multiple SKUs. But i feel it too close to current models. Especially if we see a Series S. Makes me wonder if we see a Series X & Series S at launch, will there also be a mid gen refresh. I just don't see the need for a refresh this time around. I don't see 8k being that mainstream for another 4-5 years and any hardware improvements should be saved for following generation. With generations now being 6-7 years, I rather see them just focus on making sure it can last throughout generation. But I do see a slim version coming out mid gen.

I still getting a PS5 over this just because always been a Sony guy. But I'm sure my stepson will get this console, so I will be playing it when he isn't home.
