Re: Xbox Series X ($499) and Xbox Series S ($299) Release on November 10, Pre-Orders

Man, I was so tempted to buy the PS5. I had it my cart at Target and Best Buy, but decided against it at the last second.

I can only get one and want the Xbox more. I just hope I'll be able to get the pre-order in time. I'm salivating for the 22nd.

I wonder if Microsoft would throw a curveball and put up the pre-orders tomorrow or something closer to the 22nd to temp people away from the PS5.

I feel like a bunch of people probably pre-ordered it just because they could and now they won't get the Series X. So this was a smart move by Sony.

How does preorders work on Microsoft and Amazon? You have to log in at midnight EST and preorder (before they sell out)?

All the talk that MS has shown nothing to make you buy one day 1

But Sony just dropped acid on those thoughts by saying Demon Souls is also releasing on PC and Miles Morales is coming to PS4 as well

        Ratchet and Clank?

Add Horizon 2 and Sackboy to that cross-gen list.

It is amazing the damage control that is going on now after the sony event

Jim Ryan said before that Sony believes in generations and that PS5 launch games would be exclusive to PS5 and now we find out PS5 has zero exclusives to PS5 only.

Not only that but exclusive games are $70 dollars and their pre orders were a mess. I got lucky to get the disc version at target and was charged already and got the email confirmation.

I wanted the digital but it was gone. I will try and get a digital tomorrow and flip the disc version.

But now websites like Tech Radar who bashed MS for being cross gen and hurting series x is now saying Sony move is great for their customers. WTF

I'm only trying to get a ps5 right now so I can sell it on ebay. I'll eventually get one later on, but this ps5 preorder process was a mess and unorganized.

What happens if I want to do the payment plan but have another year of ultimate access already paid for on my account? Will that year be added to year three after the payment plan is completed? Or will I lose that year I paid for?

As they should. Sony ****ed up by announcing a pre-order date and then doing nothing to enforce it. For their sake I hope they allot more units to retailers for pre-orders before the 22nd.

After Sony's stunt about sharing games I love this lol. Sony is making mistakes MS did last gen. If MS actually has units they could kill it and take advantage. Seems like Sony limiting the digital version too

Will Sony be updating us on how to share games with a 100% digital version? I'm still salty how MS's vision is actually better than what we have, but everyone whined and now we don't have digital trade ins

We’ll have to wait and see but so far it seems like Microsoft is better prepared for their launch than Sony. Everything is feeling rushed with the ps5. I want to see how the Xbox preorders go and hopefully they have a lot of stock too.

I'm joking about their just share a disc presentation when MS wanted everything digital. I'm sure whatever rules exist now will stay, but I can't just give you my digital copy of Madden.
