There are no pre orders here in Philippines so I was thinking of going in line for one on release day but someone offered to do it for me for 20 bucks. Might take his offer.

Such a hassle going to the mall, just went today and you have to sign in with your info, take your temp in every store you go into, wear a mask and face shield that covers your entire face, have to stand certain feet apart. That 20 bucks sounds like its worth it.

But I just have a feeling you will be able to get systems on launch day at stores. Especially if you live in a smaller town. I really think the last thing both companies want to do is piss off customers because they can't get, even more than the pre-order debacle.

But you will probably have to be there early and maybe wait in line.

Unless you are camping out, forget about it is my take. There are always a few systems at launch but as someone who lives in a small town as you can get, they’re sold out just as quick.

too many manufacturing problems related to Covid, on the news appliance retailers aren't getting enough product such as fridges, washer/dryers, freezers and it's a real problem. So in that light I tend to disagree as this factor provides a bit of an unknown, otherwise I'd agree as they've learned from the last few console launches.

Instead of mocking you, how about you just buy us (or just me, lol) a PS5 for the trouble and hassle of getting to stores early only to be disappointed? What do you say? Deal? lmao

I keep a separate tab open , so I could periodically check to see status of console lol.

If I had option to pick it up from store I would. I work the weekend, so I wouldn't be able to be there when it is delivered. Most likely it will be shipped on 11/11 and get here on Saturday

I was going to do home delivery but I got store pickup. I live in a small town about 13000 people and there are no stores left that sale video games at all now for the last like 8 years and the closest best buy is about 25 minutes from me. So I was going to do home delivery instead of having to spend like a hour between driving there and back and hopefully only a few minutes to get it from the store. But back when preorders went up it took me like 5 hours before my order went threw, and I don't want to mess things up and now my order is being prepared so I can't change it. On the 12 I plain to get up at 10 and eat breakfast and than head out to get the system. Should get back home around 11:30 and than get things set up then eat lunch and then start playing.

I have a digital version coming from Best Buy but I think I’m leaning towards a disk version now.
