I'm waiting until the Spring and hopefully they will be available then. There's really nothing at launch that I'm dying to play and spending $500+ at the holiday season just isn't something I'm comfortable with these days with kids and all.

I signed up for every notification possible, none of them went off. I was able to get a pre order on Targets website though.

For all those preordering from Target, and maybe it doesn't matter for some, but they technically do not charge until item ships however they pre-auth up front and when that falls off it renews that auth and keeps doing that until release which will basically tie your money up regardless of them not "charging" until shipping. Make matters worse some banks will decline the auth after its been repeated numerous times thinking its fraud and then your order gets canceled.

Just got email notification from Best Buy that preorder are live. But site has been down for me for last hour or so

Best buy was my primary choice to pre-order. But I'm okay with sticking with Target

I still don't see why Sony didn't do the direct pre-order selection emails first. I'm sure plenty of those who pre-ordered already might have been selected for direct preorders

I feel like that was all an experiment to see how many would sign up for it, or maybe xbox series x information being released forced sony's hand and made sony do preorders earlier then they planned.
