My friend was able to place two pre-orders. Friday night, he asked me if I wanted the other one. I said yes and met him in a vacant Kmart parking lot Craigslist style on Saturday. I am very lucky.

I am pretty sure Sony does not allow most places to sell digital. I forget where I read it, but it is why places like Amazon do not do digital PlayStation.

I have been using cd keys to buy digital on Xbox and PlayStation for the last 3 years or so. They don’t have buy 2 get one free but they usually have games and ps+ way cheaper then the store(just got a year for $30 like a month ago). Just might be something to check out. Saving $ is always good.

Sold my preorder to a buddy at work thinking I would be ok with the Xbox Series X. Ended up overpaying on release day to a FB Marketplace Seller.

Lucked out on preorder night back in September with Best Buy. Console was delivered on the 13th.

I got a pre-order on the first night from bb even though preorders went up earlier than they were supposed to and even though I was at work because bb was having issues. It took me about 5 hours over and over again before it would go threw and went threw at like midnight when the system was supposed to go up.

So I heard you can't backup game saves on a USB only with ps+ if true that is BS and like the switch backup saves behind a paywall and as someone that almost never plays online it sucks to have to pay just to backup saves.

I saw an article that XBOX is able to achieve 120 FPS with COD Warzone but PS5 cannot? Also seems that to get a high fidelity 4K resolution was quite the task (per JackFrags review).

Should this be worrisome or just however IW developed a PS5 solution?

Series X got 120fps in War Zone on Modern because series x can brute force on back compact games as oppose to ps5 which needs the mode to be patched by the devs...it will come soon enough

Series X is more powerful and should have a slight advantage in multiplats in the near future. Their GDK is still raw and PS5 GDK is far more advanced right now

Xbox is more powerful in theory but it was outperform by the PS5 in Black Ops when it comes to frame rates.

Not to turn this into a console war debate but according to some devs including the dirt 5 dev who said they received the Xbox dev kits late and very glitchy. He said that now they have a lot more headroom to make these games better on the series x. Due to trying to make release date dead lines it made it hard for these devs. I think once things settle in the multiplatform games will look better on the series x but I can’t wait to see what Sony does with their exclusives built for the ps5. Those are going to be fire..

Coming out of rest mode, do you have to select what user it is and then enter ??

Can you not skip that step ?? Especially if you only have one user on the system ??

yea you have seen that in a few instances but that comes down to how a game is optimized. The higher pixel count on series X is going to come at a slight cost vs PS5

Red Dead Redemption 2 was far superior on xbox one x last gen

Resident Evil 2 remake was exactly the same on both consoles.

That should tell you all you need to know about optimization.

Some companies will care to take advantage and others will just port
