eh, i'm really not excited about next week at all. i'm guessing it won't advance the plot at all since it's just gonna go back and show the days after the crash from the perspective of the other group.

and I think its crazy that some of you felt like this was a filler episode. This episode was pretty damn good....I'm getting more and more intrigue about Eko's character...I like how Michael started setting the tone with Anna Lucia how her way isn't going to fly on "his" side of the island...btw anybody else think Sayid is about 2 second away from making her boar bait?

Sad to see Shannon go...but hey, at least Sayid got a piece before she died...not to mention that she sort of got what she wanted...Sayid to believe her that she was seeing Walt.

Personally I'm starting to get really tired of Charlie...I really hope his character doesn't get more annoying than it already is...and I think Claire is starting to fall into role as well.


Next week's episode is just going to crazy...I was wondering how long they were going to wait until they showed us what happened to the tail section.

For some reason my tape didn't tape (may have run out of room) and I didn't really watch too intently... can somebody say exactly what happened about the last 10-15 minutes or so? I was distracted by the female persuasion.

Shannon and Sayid were in the jungle and they both saw Walt, Shannon followed Walt which lead to her getting shot and killed by Anna Lucia.

lol, give me a break. i suppose i should be analyzing the 'numbers' and spending time looking up secret scenes online. i enjoy the show, but would rather them advance the plot then leave a cliffhanger, only to go away from it for a couple weeks.

I think they only do a few episodes at a time and then rewrite/film the next section. When they are not advancing the plot, the writers are writing up more stuff to keep you "lost". At first I thought this show was going to be a mystery that slowly and logically unravelled, and to some extent it is, but they leave enough open ended that I wouldn't be suprised if they get feelers out there to judge what joe public thinks is going on, and then "boom" change some stuff up to keep you guessing. Its great directing and writing on their part, but I think this show will leave you feeling empty if you over analyze it like its a puzzle to figure out.

That's very true, that's also why they often take the breaks they do to do refilming and rewriting. I love this show, but I can see why some people may get upset with lack of anything really happening on the show.

I agree with you, I'm don't care too much for going back either. I don't like Anna Lucia and I don't really want to see an episode where she is probably going to be the focal. I want to know more about the hatch and what happens next because of Shannon. The plane crash stuff was last year. Although, it will be interesting to see the others, but there isn't much shock value because we already know they kill the passengers. We will know which ones make it out fine.

you guys do realize that just about every show has small breaks throughout the season...right? This isn't something unique to Lost.


as for next week's episode...I rather enjoy knowing the history of the new characters...I'm curious to see if they are going to do flashbacks for the new characters.

as for Anna Lucia...I'm not a fan of her character either...but I want to see what made that group turn into the rough necks that they are.

i just wish somebody could put Ana on check, because shes getting on my nerves just dawgn everybody like that. and do i sense a war between sayid and Anas group? did the writers set the ending up to have Anas group make themselves look like "the others"? i dunno guys....

yep I sure did. I don't really like having the new survivors besides eko because it takes the focus off the other characters to which I have grown attached to
