                    guys do not read the spoilers ahead.... I think I may have ruined my enjoyment a little for the next 3 episodes... whatever you do don't read the spoilers...

                                    well the site I went to was saying it was just a preview of next episode until they spoiled away what happened. I saw what happened and had to keep reading. It sucked. But I will say that we should all expect some great tv in the next few episodes.

                                            Anyone else have a strange feeling that there is more to Mr. Eko than meets the eye? NOTE: ABC spells it Eko and not Echo.

                                            His clothes seem more raggy than anyone else and he has not confirmed to anyone that he was in the back of the plane.

                                            Remember the plane Locke & Boone found? The one the Nigerian drug smugglers used?

                                            If you look up Eko on Wikipedia you get a reference to Lagos. That is Nigeria's largest city.

                                            I think Mr. Eko is one of the drug smugglers who survived.

                                                I have to agree on that. I suspsected that he wasn't on the plane, and had forgot about the heroin smugglers. That makes total sense. Hmmmm

                                                        Gee, thanks for co-opting my theory that was panned on other boards (and ignored when posted here a few pages back). Oh well...after this week's episode and him being a tracker and such, I assume his survival skills were heightened by a prolonged stay on the island (not to mention knowing about the Others' habits).

                                                        Here is what I said on 10/14:

                                                        "Does anyone think that the random black island guy might be the other Nigerian from the drug running plane? He's dressed differently from the other tail survivors and was OWNED by Ana for talking with Sawyer. Maybe he was hiding in the hatch when the tail people arrived and decided to join them out of fear of the outside. It makes for an interesting dynamic...having Rousseau and this Nigerian guy having been on the island for a much longer time (Rousseau was there for "16" years, a mystery number...maybe the Nigerian has been there for "8" years). Thoughts?"
