EG - I wondered that as well. Hopefully the next episode we'll hear more about it. It sounded like engines were starting up as the symbols displayed. Not sure what that was.

I also read that "Henry Gale" was an early 1900's physicist.

I wonder if there was more significance to the tree frog? It just seemed out of place. Or was it just to show that Sawyer will do anything now to get his way.

That actor from last night is the guy guard from the shawshank redeptemption. As we sure he is kate's father because I'm almost positive during kate's flashback this season she went to the army recruitment office where her real dad was and it was a different actor.

Well remeber how they saw those "bomb Shelter" type doors that can drop from the ceiling. I can't remember who saw them, maybe lock or Michael at the beginning of the season. I think that if the buttons are not pushed, the hatch goes into lockdown mode assuming everyone is dead or assuming there is a catastrophe. It wouldn't suprise me if the doors were about ready to close. I think that other hatch that the "tailies" were in probably at some point in time didn't get the buttons pressed.

Perhaps those doors are there so the hatch can self destruct and contain the explosion?

Good episode. Sounded like a machine was revving up when those signs start appearing on the countdown meter. Jack is losing it, Sayid has lost it, Sawyer is crazy, the herorin attict is nuts, everybody is CRAZY!!! AHAHAHHAHAAA

No clue who the CIA guy was, but all show he bugged me like I've seen him somewhere.
