Michael is either making it look like the other shot lucia and libby so it will motivate everybody to get his kid . Or the others got to him and he is with them now,so he can have his son back.

Either way once he gets his son back his issues will be resolved with his son and he will die.

What was ironic was that Sayid told fat boy to take Libby to the beach and before he left he said thats where he took Sharon.

Both deaths came as a suprise to me. That was a sick episode.

If you go by the other previous deaths then no she is still alive.There hasn't been one episode with her flashbacks yet except for Hurley's showing her in the mental institute with her.

He was surprised to shoot her and I don't think he meant to, more of a reflex when he shot her.Every death has happened with the character having peace with themselves.It just doesn't fit for her to die yet.Of course the writers could be throwing everything off by having her die.If she is alive then sh knows what happened, or she could be out of commission for a while.

Some random thoughts:

What happened to all the guns Michael took with him when he locked Locke & Jack in the safe? Did he lose them? Did the Others take them? Did he give them to the others as part of an agreement? (You give us your guns, we will give you Walt if you free Henry and tell them we aren't heavily armed). Could he be brainwashed?

Michael mentioned only 2 guys had guns and they were guarding a hatch where the kids might be. If that's true why didn't he take them out?

He also mentioned nearly all of them are women or elderly people. They panned over to kate right when he said that. Remember the costumes and theatrical glue and beards she found?

I bet Libby is barely alive and reveals that Michael did it during the finale.

Michael appeared to be locked up in the room that Henry was in. So I'm also guessing that Libby tells them, but Libby is dead, there are promo pictures with proof.

I don't think Michael is brainwashed. I think he met with the others and believes he made a deal with them to get Walt back. I think it can go two ways, either the Others want Ana dead or they want Henry back. If they simply want Henry back, Ana dies because she is the only one in the hatch to stop Michael from letting Henry go. If the others want Ana dead, it would be because she has already killed two Others and they want payback. I could see Michael agreeing to kill Ana. Pretty much all Michael knows about Ana is that she kidnapped him, threw him in a hole, and that she killed Shannon. Plus I think he would kill anyone on the island to get Walt back.

I guess the main reason I don't think Michael is brainwashed is because he really was sorry that he had to kill Ana. He struggled with it and then said he was sorry. I don't think that would have been the case had he been brainwashed.

Something is going to happen where Libby gets a flashback before she dies. I know one thing those two girls blew alot of money on there drunken driving.

I think next week, when Michael gives his lie, that we'll definately hear some detail that will eventually lead to the survivors finding out the truth. I'm also wondering about the AK he took. If they *ONLY* have two guards, he could have picked them both off with no problem.

Some points I would like discussion on:

1)Does anyone else feel that there are going to be two groups of others? Tent city or not, I'm thinking that there are still some savage Others (maybe escaped test subjects), along with a group of Hanso researchers that are actually running the island (Zeke being one of them).

2)Henry told Ana-Lucia that she killed "two" of them. I only recall Goodwin, and I definately don't recall Ana-Lucia telling Henry about them. Who was the second one she killed? Goodwin killed the guy she had imprisoned in the pit, and Henry knows of the two that Eko killed. What gives? Was Shannon an Other? Or am I totally missing something.

Great episode, and I just love this show! Can't wait for next week!

my thoughts

AnaL is dead, flat out... they killed her off because she was difficult to work with.

Libby is shot and severly wounded, but will not be dead in the next episode... she will have her flashback in the next episode or two while Hurley watches over her. He eventually realizes who she is but she is unconsious when he does and she dies before he gets to confront her. (btw, libby was going to get blankets, Hurley was getting the wine from Rose & Bernard).

As for Michael, in next week's preview, there was a shot of him bandaged standing inside the gun closet looking mad... have the Losties figured out what he did and put him in captivity?


As for AnaLs sex scene with Sawyer, remember that Shannon and Sayid had a sex scene just a day or two before she was shot by AnaL... any ties to the island punishing people for unwed sex, especially the women?

What was the deal with Jack approaching Sawyer for the guns and not even giving him a chance to reject him. Before he even had a chance to ask for them, Jack was throwing the manuscript in the fire... what gives with that? I know he's under pressure but let the guy say no before you spazz out.

Also, now that Fenry is gone most likely, does Locke confide in Jack about the hidden map and the two try to figure out what it represents?




PS... as a side note, they better not be killing of Echo... he's probably one of the most liked characters on the show and as little time as he's been given recently, they better not whack him by him falling out of a tree or whatever.
