most tv's especially the Mitsu's don't support 720p. only a select few tv's support it or will up-convert the signal to 1080i. even if you have the hd-pack and your tv doesn't support it, you're gonna have to go back into your dashboard, disable only the 720p option, and then your game will play in 480p. the xbox doesn't have the power to up-convert, it can only down-convert. it's sad i know, but that's how it goes

there are only a slight few that feature 720p, and only a couple of those are any good. some really good ones would be nba2k series, the world series baseball. i'm not sure how the mvp 2004 is as i'm yet to see it play in 720p

i know there are a few more, but my minds a blank right not, i hope this helps

Just to let you fellas know, I got Voom installed today. The PQ is great, and the installation wasn't to bad at all. Ask away if you have any questions.

Well bd, I'm going to cancel D*. If I were to keep both, the bill would be about 110-120 a month. I am hoping Voom gets espn soon, which I do know they are working on, but most of the SD channels I watch are already there. Unless you buy the extra reciever STB for $199.00 you rent it, 9.50 per month + 5.00 the same as D*.

I'm paying about 63.00 a month for Voom. This includes rented equipment, free OTA antenna, free install , the 2 STB's with the HD service of course, and my first bill won't be charged until after the first 30 days.

Not a bad 0 down investment huh? I would be paying about 55 or so with D* standard package and no HD..

                        Did that help?

To add to that bd if you did purchase on box, the total bill would be about 55 bucks a month. They have some standard NFL channels, and they show a game of the week in HD on an NFL HD channel. I say ESPN will be there soon, because they already have Disney whom also owns ESPN so look out.
