well I'm going to have a 61 inch RCA DLP that doesn't accept 720p signals. Will it convert down to 480 or 1080i?? Are XBox games at 720p that big of a difference from a regular CRT tv?? I've been playing PS2 on a 19 inch tv and my parents are getting a 61 inch tv which should make it so huge!!

don't worry , the games will still look amazing. your tv will up convert to 1080i or down convert to 480p, the games will look a ton better than what you are using now.

            Re: Opinions

i have a stupid question, but since i am very tired atm, it doesn't seem too bad.

How many plugs does an HD cable have on each end?

I ask becasue on AV4 on the back of my TV, it says HD and then there are 5 holes. Now i have never seen 5 holes, i am used to dealing with 3 holes and 2. Anyway since i want to hook it up to my direct tv box does that mean 1 end of the wire has 5 plugs and the other has 3?

Also, do i have to get 2 of these wires since i am getting the xbox hd kit or does that pack come with one?

Oh yeah, and does the wire cost $100 or was the Best Buy guy trying to screw me over?

These have to sound soooo bad... sry

There is a DVI jack, and the three colored component cable (the red, blue and green plugs). Pick whichever you want. The component is very good, and the DVI is also, and yes DVI is very expensive. Who do you have HD service with?

Didn;t they provide you with a DVI cable? Or did they give you component cables.
