The Grass Crown by Colleen McCullough.
It's the 2nd book in a series about Ancient Rome. Long, but excellent read for any history buffs.Comment

Re: What Books Are You Currently Reading?
Right now I'm reading a book on the battle for Guadalcanal in ww2.There is no place like Nebraska
Dear old Nebraska U.
Where the girls are the fairest,
The boys are the squarest,
Of any old school that I knew.
There is no place like Nebraska,
Where they're all true blue.
We'll all stick together,
In all kinds of weather,
For Dear old Nebraska U!
Won't change this signature until Nebraska wins the National Championship...posted 8/16/05Comment

"Subterranean" by James Rollings. Great adventure book thus far. About a team of explorers who follow a set of underground tunnels underneath Antarctica, and wind up running into some "pre-historic" danger. Been a great, fun read so far.
Another author to look at for those who are into adventure/action novels, check out Steve Alten. He's written books such as "MEG", "The Trench", and "MEG: Primal Waters", all about the pre-historic Megaladon shark. The books are like nonstop rollercoaster rides, but deep into the ocean.Comment

Re: What Books Are You Currently Reading?
ABout to start The Da Vinci Code...mainly due to the thread about the trailer. The *** **** movie trailer made me want to read the boo,. In all honesty, it was because I thought it was something completely different...like a book about math or something. Didn't realize it was actually fiction.Comment
