My favorite christmas song of all time is "Skating" by Vince Guraldi. The only problem is that it's so short

Butch Walker does this amazing cover of "Last Christmas," he's also got an original called "Merry Christmas" that is awesome.

Angie Aparo also has the best version of "Silent Night" I have ever heard.

Rob Thomas also has a nice original called "A New York Christmas" that he wrote some time ago.

I honestly hate traditional Christmas music, give me something contemporary any day.

EDIT: Forgot Nickel Creek's version of "I'll Be Home For Christmas."

                      Re: Christmas music.

"Grandma Got Run Over By a Reindeer" is always fun to listen to. I also like "Run, Run Rudolph" by Chuck Berry, the one popular Mariah Carey Christmas song, "All I Want for Christmas Is You", and I like the one Hawaiian (?) Christmas Eve song featured in "Christmas Vacation". The Trans Siberian Orchestra is awesome as well.

I love Christmas music, as long as it's varied among traditional church carols, contemporary, and instrumental.
