Alien Ant Farm are releasing a new album on July 25th. I hope it continues in the direction of their second album rather than resorting back to the monosound of their first.

OutKast's "Idlewild" is suppose to (according to metacritic) be released at the end of August and I hope it doesn't get pushed back yet again.

The Black Keys are releasing a new album in September, as is Audioslave, who have a their first single off their new album streaming on their official website.

Ambulance LTD is finishing up their second full length album and it will be released late Summer/early Fall.

And the following are all working on new material for albums to be released late 2006/early-mid 2007:

MF Doom & Ghostface
Outkast
Beck
and...

Chris Cornell is going to head into the studio late 2006 to start recording his much awaited follow-up to his first solo album "Euphoria Morning."

I know Muse and Lostprophets just released new albums very recently, and Breaking Benjamin has a new disk coming out early August (I wanna say the 8th, but not sure of the date exactly).

Three albums recently announced that I'm stoked for:

Glenn Danzig - Black Aria II (The long-awaited sequel to the classical album released in the early 90's) Due out September 16.

Danzig - The Lost Tracks (An album containing songs from the American Recordings sessions as well as more recent stuff all never before released) Due out Thanksgiving.

Iron Maiden - A Matter of Life and Death (Possibly the last studio album for Maiden, the first single is up on their website) Due out in early September.

The John Mayer album "Continuum" comes out in September sometime last I heard. I'm not sure that another JMT album is in the works right now. I know there are people here who are huge fans and will be able to better answer you, but that is the last I heard.

I am currently looking forward to the new Cursive album which comes out Tuesday.
