not sure but you can probably do it your self. Real easy. You don't need to remove your radio, actually nothing is even attatched to the radio. YOu just turn your radio on a certain chanell and it will work.

sweet. that was pretty much the only thing that I was wondering. I didn't want to shell out for one only to get a new car and have to worry about getting it uninstalled and put into a new car.

yeah, it will be easy to swap out to a new car. Mine plugs into the cigarette lighter and is on a suction cup mount (came with receiver) on the windshield below my rear view mirror. The antenna is the hardest part to do and it is easy too. It is a magnet that sits on your roof or trunk and you have to just route the wire to where your receiver is. It's easy to hide it by tucking it in your car trim.

I've had Sirius since November 2004 and I can't live without it.

Howard Stern was in his new studio today messing around with his new console to find out how everything worked. During that time he took a few calls and he told one of the callers that they are working on getting his channels online.

I'm looking forward to the Stern show secrets being revealed next Monday.

Got a new car on Dec. 15th and wanted the XM radio package that was internal in the stereo, but it turned out that the dealer threw it in for free since I found my car without the built in XM. Now I am happy it was an aftermarket add-on just attached to my dash. I can take the receiver out now and I am looking into getting the boombox so I can listen in the house. Less than a month in and I already bought a 3-year subscription...can't live without my MLB. It is awesome!

got both.. the XM i have is the MyFi - house, car, & portable... the Sirrus unit is the xact (bought at target)... i have it too that both are portable (the xact had a portable kit, though it looks like a little "big"..

Sirrus did infact come out with a portable unit (cant think of the name right now, but it seems not to be in stores yet, or sold out at least)...

but people are right.. once you go satelite, you really cannot go back to "regular" radio..

I have Sirius. It's very good, but I don't listen to it that much, because I have a bunch of mp3 discs, so thats like 120 songs a disc. However, I can't wait to see what the new Howard Stern show will be like.

Well I went digging for this thread. I just ordered the Xact Visor (Sirius) and I've already been fiddling with the online music/talk shows. Can't wait till it gets here.
