Holy crap! They've finally made a movie for 9/11/01.

I really want to see this. Can't believe how sad it's going to be.





I was sort of hoping that Michael Bay directed this. Let's just hope that they took their time in making this movie the best that it could be.

Anyway, I'm normally not into movies that are made for T.V. IMO they're just never as good.

That A&E show almost brought me to tears and I'm not anywhere close to a crier. I would imagine there will be very few dry eyes in this movie.

Its weird. Watching movies about WWII (Pearl Harbor, DDay, etc) always got me fairly emotional, but this is on a whole new level because I experienced it. I can give the whole "I remember where I was" story that everybody gives about Pearl Harbor and the JFK shooting. Much different than something that happened 40 or 60 years ago.

Hmm according to IMDB this movie will be a real time dramatization. I guess this means this will be quasi documentary like.

It'll definitely be interesting how this film is recieved when it comes out.

Exactly. Both Bush and Cheney have stated that if it was needed, the order was given to shoot down any commercial airliner that refused to follow the no-fly warning.

Perhaps the "let's roll" story is just too sexy though. After the inspirational story of those on that flight who planned to uprise against the hijackers, who would want to hear that thier attempts were a failure and the plane actually had to be shot down? This story puts a shimmer of hope and camaraderie to a story that would otherwise be one of lost lives.
