Im getting a TV and would really rather pay 720$ as opposed to 800$.

Just throwing this out there, but Crutchfield.com is having free shipping on a lot of TVs and you can get the same TV there as at Best Buy for the same price and sometimes cheaper.

O believe me I googled to death before making this request. You can't find it anywhere on the net, it's something only customers get in the mail and it's a uniqe thing not one that can be copied freely.

Will do. If abates gets me that coupon to me sometime tonight im gonna pick it up tomorrow and will try to get it calibrated fully by this weekend.

Oh, and I'm thinking about bringing mine to college (I'd be living in a dorm), and my mom says that there's a good chance that it would get taken. A T.V. of that size (but also of that calibur)... do you really think that could possibly happen?

I already bought the Insignia 30' Widescreen HDTV, but as I said above it's garbage so im going to take it back and pay the difference for this one.

I've read a ton about it and then general consensus, especially from the gurus at avsforum.com, is that this is the best 30' CRT Widescreen tv you can get.

Not a problem with the questions. We are literally in the same exact boat. Senior in high school, going to college next year, and making our first HDTV purchase. I'll be taking mine with me, along with my 360 and complete home theater setup. I plan on being very conscious of my security setup wherever I end up staying. Of course theft is always going to be a possiblity, even more so in a college dorm but I think if you take the right precautions it can be avoided as best as possible.
