I think the Chinese gov't storyline could be interesting. Jack's already saved the country twice from nukes, and twice from the release of a deadly virus there's got to be something different for him to do.

I thought last night's episode was pretty good. I thought the first 10 minutes or so was real good. All I have to say is that the writers better do a good job of giving the President both a motive for what he's doing and explain how someone that has been a complete moron since last season can have the guts to do something like this. I imagine it will come out that Henderson has something really damaging to the President's character and this is done to further his political career. That's the only thing I can think of. There just better be a realistic reason on why the President would go along with a chemical weapon being released on US soil. He already has the most power a person in the US can have, so it must be some way to get him re-elected. But how does allowing 100 thousand citizens get you re-elected. I can understand getting re-elected because you saved the people, but he had no role in Jack stopping the natural gas incident. Had the nerve gas got out there, that would have been a victory for Henderson and the President. I just don't see the motive unless he is being coerced which I guess is likely. President Logan is definitely the personality of someone easily coerced. It's just hard to portray him a tough bad guy now given he has been incompetent since last season.

Did I miss something? The patriot coalition's aim was to have the nerve gas detonate in the hands of the terrorists.

So are you saying that Henderson isn't a part of what was going down at the natural gas plant? I thought Henderson was part of the same agenda that Bierko was on. Is that not right?

I realize that the original plan was to detonate the terrorist, but once that killed, did Bierko start working on his own? I thought Henderson was with him, according to Collette Stinger. And now we see Logan is in with Henderson.

That was Walt's idea and the people he was working with, I dont think the president had anything to do with that.

They only threatened to use it on US soil once they failed to kill President Subaroff

That was Walt's idea and the people he was working with, I dont think the president had anything to do with that.

I'm not upset, it's just funny how people are all gloom and doom because something doesn't appear right with the show, when there's still a full third of the season left.

well, since it hasn't been one day yet, I can understand why the Chinese haven't done anything yet. I imagine the last couple episodes they will have caught wind of it.
