    The Most Overlooked Movie

I was wondering what some of you guys thought about this topic. I currently have a Netflix account and not much to rent so I was wondering if there were any good movies besides the ones we always hear about. If you could explain a little of it, it'd be appreciated.

My pick: City of God: Sort of like a Boyz n da Hood remake (tracks a group of kids through their early years through 20s), but this deals with the Brazilian slums and not US. Being that it's based on a true story, I was very surprised and sad about how desperate some people are. Language spoken is Portuguese but the subtitles are well done to where you can follow it really well.

I don't really know if it is overlooked or not, but I never really heard much about Donnie Darko until I rented it one day, great movie. I know it has it's circle of fans who think it is a classic, but never heard much on a mainstream level.

Also Bottle Rocket and The Royal Tenebaums are two great movies by Wes Anderson. Didn't like The Life Aquatic or Rushmore as much, but both of them have their followers. Again, Anderson has his fans, but not many people I know have heard of or seen these movies.

Super Troopers is pretty overlooked as far as comedies. That movie was just hilarious.

A few great movies that don't get a lot of run....

              - Almost Famous

              - Downfall
              - The Machinist
              - Ronin
              - Three Kings
              - 25th Hour

The epitome of this topic is the movie The Boondock Saints.

Blow is certainly a good movie.

                  Let's see...

                  The Bourne movies(Identity/Supremecy)
Harold and Kumar go to White Castle

For some reason I can't think of any others...
