Re: Battlestar Galactica
What's interesting is how many "key" human characters are starting to sympathize with Cylon characters.
The Deck Chief, Helo, Baltar...all of these guys seem to become more and more "Cylon tolerant" with each passing episode.
That could spell trouble for Adama and the Colonials down the line.AUBURN TIGERS

15 minutes until a new episode.
I'm anxious to see if Baltar and the Cylon start to develop a relationship and if he starts to "turn" more so toward her side.AUBURN TIGERS

Re: Battlestar Galactica
I thought last night's episode was pretty good. Sad to see Bill Duke only visit for one episode though. They certainly developed Apollo's character a bit. I don't recall ever seeing anything before about his wife/girlfriend on Caprica, or wherever that was. Next week it looks like Starbuck will be the focus.MLB: Cincinnati Reds

Re: Battlestar Galactica
I like how every episode isn't about the Cylons. The black market episode was an excellent showing of Apollo's true nature. He's genuinely good at the core, but a little naive. And he's not afraid to get his hands dirty when he feels he needs to. Colonel Tigh seems, to me, to be one of the most amoral people on the ship. He's not particularly dedicated to his job, and he seems to have no real allegiance with any of the others.Comment

Re: Battlestar Galactica
Wow...good thread. I love BG, I do think it is the best show on TV right now and I loved the fact that Apollo pulled the trigger.
I have suspected Billy and Tigh's wife as being Cylons from their respective introductions. Tigh's wife reminds me of what # 6 might look like if she aged plus 6 seemed to have some recognition of her. This would be a way of getting around the Pilots only "12 models of Cylons" set up. Tigh's wife being an aged version of 6.
I am not real comfortable with the never ending terrorists plotlines, but it is the world we live in, so they are just being topical.
Recently I am wondering if either Baltar or the Doc is a Cylon. If Baltar is a Cylon it would explain 6 being in his head without the evidence of a Cylon chip. If the Doc was a Cylon, it would explain why he found no chip in Baltar's brain. I lean toward the Doc since Baltar is the Benedict Arnold/Judas of Battlestar, the betrayer of Mankind. You cannot betray Mankind if you are not of Mankind. I guess it is possible that Baltar truly is just nuts and 6 is a manifestation of that, but I like to think that the Cylons truly do have some plan and are using him still.
Right now I am wondering when they are getting on toward Earth after what they found on Kobal.Comment

Earth...
I don't expect them to find it this season.... or the 3rd season that was ordered by Sci-Fi (which will show the first half of season 3 in the fall and the 2nd half of season 3 starting in Jan 2007, much like season 2).
If only mainstream audiences gave this show a chance. It would be huge.
Maybe someday the general poplutation that watchest TV will see Sc-Fi as not just Star Wars, Star Trek, or aliens. Battlestar has the best chance of any series i've seen to change the perception of sci-fi.
The entire Cast of Battlestar is awesome. All the characters are pretty strong. Each with their own Pro and Con. There's not Good and Evil. It's just like the real world, shades of grey.BeyondMediaOnline.comComment

Re: Battlestar Galactica
Me and my girlfriend purchased the DVD's (the set with the miniseries included, I heard there were more than one) and are really enjoying it. Too bad I didn't find out about this show sooner or I would have either watched or recorded this season's episodes. 2 thumbs up!Comment

Re: Battlestar Galactica
Quick question, I picked up the Season One DVD and was curious about the Season 2.0 DVD. Someone mentioned that the second half of Season 2 was just starting and I was feeling confused. Did they already release all of the season 2 episodes up until now and if so will they release the whole season in one package later on? Just curious because I'd like to catch up on every episode but can't seem to track down everything that the 2.0 DVD has to offer episode wise. Thanks for any help, this is a great show.Comment

Re: Battlestar Galactica
Yeah it's all screwey. The second season has been spilt in half. OR they are calling it two short season's in the same year. I'm not sure if we are in the second half of season two or they are calling it season three.
They played about 10 episodes then stopped for a few months. Probably to release the DVD's as they make so much money on those. But we are in the season after 2.0 OR the second part of 2.0.....whew!PSN: JISTIC_OS

The episodes that they are showing now are the second half of season two. The Sci-Fi channel(and some other cable networks as well I'm sure) schedule and then split their seasons the way they do in order to avoid competing(as much as possible) with the new episodes/sweeps of the network shows.
Trying to be cool by labeling the DVD "Season 2.0" instead of "Season 2 Part 1", causes some confusion amongst fans. Season 3 will start airing in July.Jordan Mychal Lemos

Anyone catch the episode last night? If not, you'll be in for a surprise if you catch the encore on Monday night @ 11. I know I was surprised by what happened. Also, is it just me because I think Kandyse McClure (Dualla) is really cute. Great eyes.MLB: Cincinnati Reds

And I'm sure it's not just you since Dualla has the face of a runway model.Comment
