    Bwhahahahah this story is hilarious.

Joshua Vannoy says his teacher called him a "stinking Denver fan," and instructed other students to throw crumpled paper at him.

Teacher is a dunce, but it's still funny.

For everyone the teacher gets, the kid deserves double for being suck a puss. I'm a Christian, but sometimes when you reach a certain age, you just have to learn what's a joke and what's not. I'm sure the teacher knows the student somewhat. But then again, this world is cruel. He looks like he wants to cry on the picture. What's even worse is he probably got laughed at hard as heck when he came back to school. What a way to go.......

Seriously guys this was a very good teaching tecnique, its an Ethniticy class, stinking denver fan is same as saying Stinking N*gger. When we had segregation you think which was worse being a black person who had to sit in back of bus, be called named couldnt sit in the same seats as whites. I see exactly what the teacher did and if you dont, then you dont understand the teacher. Which is worse hmm not being able to drink from a certain water fountain or not being able to sit in the front of the bus. Its the same thing he made an example of him, albeit the kid is a wuss if he cried to his parents but im sure he explained this was a way to show how society treated those that were "different.

This is how i see it.

I wonder what his grades are? He said he didnt even do 20 of the questions because he was mad/scared... he's probably worried about his grade. If I were that teacher, i wouldve tried to tell the kid he could retake the test and dont take life too serious.

This is gonna sound awful, but it serves him right. I'm not saying he should be forced to wear a Steeler shirt just because he's from Pittsburgh, but he could have some common sense.

When virtually everyone else is wearing Black and Gold and you wear Blue and Orange, what do u expect is going to happen?

It's like the Steeler fan in Denver who had Steeler stuff all over his car. You know what happened to his car? It was keyed. Serves him right. It's called common sense.

It's like wearing the color red in a heard of bulls. You're just asking for punishment.

To reiterate, I'm not saying it was right what the teacher did, but I'm saying the issue could have been avoided if the student used some common sense.
Wow dude. Common sense tells me you are like, a total @$$hole. You should probably use common sense and not post on a message board that people deserved to get hundreds of dollars worth of damage done to their cars because they show support for a Professional sports team in a certain city or part of the country. And no, it is not like wearing red in a heard of bulls. Its called freedom of expression and fan support. Also it is called expecting people, especially grown adults, to act maturely and not take a situation too far. This goes for both situations, the car and kid.

Look at the kid, that is NOT a kid that looks like he can really joke around with his teacher with much confidence. Teacher has to know not to take it too far.

As a Teacher i have been in class rooms where there is constant ribbing agains other kids, and i have told my fair share of jokes about kids, but you never should single out a kid to this extent, its a little wus on the kids part for getting so scared and whinny about the whole thing but the teacher could have shown a little more restraint in having fun with the kid.

It could also just be an overblown copout on his part because he didn't actually know the material.

Re: If this happened to my child

Well, I mean, I can understand if this was a "lesson."

However, it sounds like he made him take a test while sitting on the floor. And, people were throwing things at him.

Why do this on the day of an exam if it's a lesson? If this was just a joke, I can understand but I wouldn't think the kid would think it was so mean spirited.....and why make him actually take a test on the floor?

More details would clear some of this up.

Couldnt of said that better myself. I remember during the earily 90's when Dallas was winning their super bowls..we have show your spirt day and I wore my Niner gear. i got a little ribbing, but that was it. Everyone knew I was a 49ers fan. So, by that it would of been okay if the kids jumped me, since I should of used common sense and not wear the other teams jesery?
